Challenge 1 of 2015: New, New and New!
Gremlin wrote: "Congratulations, Barb!!!At the rate you ran through that challenge, you could do another two before our challenge deadline is over! :P"
I could, but now I'm going through and finishing all the series that I started! We'll see if I find enough new authors to try round two. This is so NOT my normal reading pace.
Finished two of my books for the fancy challenge. My "W" book,
(01/16) and my "H" book,
(01/24). So, 2/10 completed. My original post #19 is updated. :D
Finally finished my first one! I am behind. Loved it though. I know I said Simple but I am trying the fancy anyway, just not expecting to get it. Updated post 28
The E for evil
Hi Casey! Congrats on book #1!Though it wasn't specifically stated, the idea was that you would use the first word of the title (or the author's first or last name) to spell out your goal/resolution. So The School for Good and Evil could be an S or a C.
I can see from your post #28 that you'd originally intended this as your S book, so I'm going to put it in as an S. I hope that doesn't mess up your system to much!

Oh that's fine. That's what i had meant to do anyway. I will change it.
I have completed 4 from my fancy challenge, so far.
I'm working on the rest but it's hard to get into the ones I've tried. I'm going to power through, though.
I just finished book #4
and I loved most of it. I am noticing I seem to have an issue with not liking the endings of books though. Maybe it's because it is a series and I just need to read the next one.Updated post # 71.
Updated! And Jessabeth, I totally feel you. Book endings are really important to me and I honestly get SO annoyed with series books that just use it as an excuse NOT to truly end a book. I'm not saying everything has to be tied up, but there has to be some sense of closure.
Finished 9/12
. I have no idea why I waited that long to read it--it was was soooooo good! I can't wait for the second one!Post #26 is updated.
Well done and congratulations, Kdbrand! And you're only halfway through February! What amazing things will you accomplish in the next month and a half? :)

Yancey seems to be building up to a massive conclusion-I personally can't wait for the last book to come out this year but he has set a really high bar for himself. I hope he can deliver.

I have finished
for the simple level.I have finished
for the letter N
by Elizabeth Wein for the letter E
for the letter Oupdated #12
Congratulations, Diane! And how delightfully fortunate that you got some good books at the same time!
I finally finished
for letter R, I think. It wasn't that great for me and took me a long time, but they don't call it a challenge for nothing, right? :D
