Powers/Abilities: Winter has the ability to frost objects over with a touch, and if she concentrates she can freeze living things such as flowers, grass and leaves. She can also create daggers, longs shards of ice and other weapons with her powers. Although this isn't a power, Winter's skin will sometimes become covered in frost without Winter having anyhting to do with it. Occassionaly, Winter has hallucinations and visions, due to being related to Mania. Sometimes the visions are harmless, and Winter will see snow on a hot day in summer, or she'll leave frosty footprints on the ground that only she can see. Other times, the hallucinations are worse, and she'll think her fingers are turning to ice and breaking off, or her necklaces are trying to choke her. The worst visions are when she hears or sees her dead father and tries to find him, getting hurt or lost in the process.

Personality: Winter is like a snowdrop amid the sharp icicles that are her half-siblings. She's nice, gentle and caring, and treats everyone the with kindness and respect, even if they don't deserve it. Sometimes this is a fault, making Winter too trusting for her own good. Winter is sweet, innocent and naive, and likeable by almost everyone, and she has a whimsical, flighty nature. As well as being kind, Winter is very intelligent and is good at thinking of unique solutions to problems. But within Winter's kind, fairy-like personality is a half of her that is insane and unstable, due to being the granddaugter of Mania and the death of her father. Winter has a broken, scattered, crazy side that most don't see, mainly because Winter tries her best to hide it. Despite that, Winter is an extremly likeable, forgiving and kind girl, and she makes the best of the world when others can't.

Winter's life started as a happy one, but quickly went downhill. Only a few weeks after Winter arrived at her house, her father, Everet, and her stepmother, Levana, got married. Levana never liked Winter, only seeing her as a distraction, an inconvinience. As Winter grew up, her father became more and more distant. Winter never minded though, instead spending her time with Ryu, who'd been there ever since she could remember.

Levana became more hostile and cold with every passing day. One night, when Everet was away on a business trip, Levana started to hit and yell at Winter. Ryu protected her, but Winter knew that it would have been worse if her pet arctic wolf had not been there.

Then the visions and hallucinations came. There were so many tests and doctor's appoinments and hospital stays following that, but they never did any good. The hallucinations didn't stop, getting worse with each week that went by.

A month after Winter turned thirteen, she was attacked by a monster, and this time it wasn't one only she could see. She ran, and the monster, a gorgon, chased after her. After hours of running, the gorgon caught her, and Winter's powers on Khione's side manifested just in time. She stabbed an icicle through the gorgon's heart, and it dissolved into sand. Winter made her way back home, bloody and bruised, expecting concern. All she got was anger and sorrow from Levana, and the heartbreaking news that her father was dead, killed by another monster who'd come after Winter had run. Winter didn't fight when Levana, a daughter of Hecate, used her magic to make Winter give herself the three long scars on her cheek she has today.

Winter ran afterwards, Ryu in tow. After a month of living on the streets, Winter was found by a satyr, and taken to Camp Half-Blood, where she was claimed by Khione and has been living ever since.

Lauren is, how do I put this, harsh. She is judgmental, competitive, and never knows when to keep her mouth shut. It doesn't help that her first memory is her getting hurt. She only trusts people when she gets to know them really well, so not many people get past surface, or even try.

Artemis found a girl, 16, crying in the middle of the woods. She asked her what was wrong, and she said that her boyfriend had broken up with her, harshly, and didn't remember anything beside that. Artemis took pity on the girl and let her join the hunters. Since the girl didn't even remember her name, Artemis picked it out for her. Lauren, in honor of her brother (he helped her save a doe recently, and this was his price); Sylvia, meaning "from the forest", because that was where Artemis found her, and Hart, because of that doe again. Soon, Artemis realized that Lauren's archery skills were superior to most of the other hunters, and decided to send her to somewhere where she could expand her archery skills. Camp Half-Blood.

History: Aria has been from family to family, being in the foster system was rough. Not knowing who her parents were she went from house to house trying to fit in. But one day when she woke up in a forest, by herself with a sword in her hands with a note... *daughter of Ares and Asteria your fate has been awoken*. With the note and the sword she found her confusion answered, in a camp deep in the woods (Camp HalfBlood). It was here that she felt like she belonged. But when life hits hard she had no one to turn to and she felt lonely. So she left the camp... no one knew where she went and they soon forgot about her. She thought as much and soon she came back once again... Hopefully this time she finds out what she needs.

History: Was born into a good family. Her father left unexpectedly when she was only 3 and her mother fell into depression. When she was 6 she went to school and would always get into fights. When she turned 9 she was sent to a boarding school where Chiron taught. She finally starts getting friends and by the age of 10 she learned she was special by flooding the school and gets expelled. Instead of heading home she runs away. She slowly, accidentally walks to Long Island Sound and stubble across Camp Half-Blood. She was on the run for 2 years and was attacked by many different monsters. She made it to Camp and were taught fighting techniques and different types of blades. She didn't like people so she was alone most of the time. She learned how to control her powers and became kind fond of camp. She decided to stay at camp full time.

Calliope is a quiet person. She can come off as standoffish since she is blunt. It’s surprising since she had quite a lot of friends at school. She prefers following then leading. At camp she feels like she belongs there. She is still taking in the fact she is a child of an actual god.

History:

Calliope grew up in a middle class neighbourhood. Her parents separated when she was small, but remained friends and provided a happy, stable home. Her father and her don’t really have a close relationship but she does not dislike him. Her step-mother is a very kind person who knew that she was a child of a goddess but never told her. Calliope found out after she was sent to camp and got pretty upset. They aren’t on speaking terms at the moment
