He would traipse around the nearby cemetery, cleaning the graves and finding fresh flowers to replace old ones. ~ Personality ~
To her core, Jeanne-Marie is artistic and political, believing that everyone should have a voice and be able to express themselves in their own way. She believes in promoting understanding for everyone and is against discrimination of any kind. She does this through volunteerism, sharing information to spread awareness, and attending protests. Her other passions are in voice, piano and theater, much like her mother and father.

The daughter of Euterpe can be charismatic, sassy, confident or sometimes reserved, passionate and ambitious in her pursuits. Most people will see this, but only a few will actually see how sensitive and quirky they are beyond the walls they naturally put up to protect themselves. Sometimes, they can be rather empathic, able to sympathize and understand other people intuitively, but at other times, they rub people the wrong way by being unintentionally insensitive.

~ History ~
Sixteen years ago, Apollo and the Muses Erato, Euterpe, and Thalia attended a performance of An American in Paris at the Manhattan School of Music. A small reception was held afterwards, so that the conservatory patrons, actors and crew could mingle. The goddess Euterpe and the male lead Curtis Chang’s eyes met from across the room. When they spoke for the first time, they immediately hit it off.

While the two of them were together, they mutually inspired each other- his performance soared and new beautiful music was released all over the world. The only thing that could increase or prevent their happiness was the birth of a baby girl. Curtis and Euterpe loved Jeanne-Marie very much, but they both knew their time was short now as the gods could not interfere with the lives of mortals or their demigod children. She tried to get away from her duties as much as she could for the next four years, but she was found out by Momus, the god of mockery, blame, harsh criticism and complaint. Naturally, he informed Zeus and Apollo and she had no other choice but to stop seeing the dancer and their daughter.

The only one providing for their little girl, a heart-broken Curtisthrew himself into his work. As a dancer and actor at a small stage venue in New York, he moved himself and little Jeanne-Marie into a government-owned building at the edge of Time Square and Devil’s Kitchen and picked up a second job as a waiter to keep up with their bills, leaving his four-year-old to the care of their grand-maman most days. After a year, a comedic actor with an easy smile and charming wit named Stefano Moretti strolled in. Curtis’ diligence and passion for their work immediately caught Stefan’s attention and Stefan courted him persistently. After another year, Curtis reciprocated his feelings and soon after, the two men moved in together to the horror of Jeanne-Marie’s grandfather.

During the following years, Curtis worked as a Broadway dancer and singer and his partner as a stand-up comedian and actor while raising his daughter. In spite of Curtis’ reluctance and his father's disapproval, Stefano and Grand-maman persuaded him to send the girl to Camp Half-Blood during the summers to be among her own demigod peers and learn to defend herself. Each grandparent gifted Jeanne-Marie a weapon passed down through their families; a Japanese tanto dagger and an one-handed Jian sword. During the school year, they attend the Special Music School (Lucy Moses) and spend time with both their dads at their places of work. On top of her music theater after school programs and music lessons, she also works as a singer and sometimes pianist in Little Italy.

History: When she was five, her mother (drunk) kicked her out of the house with a few belongings. She moved around for a while, learning ways. After finding a mysterious watch and a beautiful charm, and unlocking their secrets, she began to find ways to fix her 'problems' as her mother told her. Because she was a problem child in her mother's eyes. She slowly discovered powers when she enter foster homes, and figured out that she was a demigod on her own. With no way to mask her scent, she continued daily life. She was living in a lovely foster home when she was taken to Camp Half Blood. She immediately made a connection with the workshop, despite not being a daughter of Hephaestus. Her creativity allowed her to make unique weapons and gagets. You were quite smart, but you were put in lower classes because of your dyslexia. You never had a good relationship with your father. He saw you as a complication, as you got into lots of trouble at school because of your ADHD. Also, your constant nightmares kept him up at night. But he does have two sisters, your aunts, who you got along well with. They never knew that you were a demigod, but one did teach history and had a sneaking suspicion that you weren't all mortal.

How you came to Camp Half-Blood:
You were 14. (Your the child of a minor goddess, so not many monsters target you) You had just had a major fight with your dad, and was walking off your rage, when you came upon a cave on the beach that you had never seen before. You liked exploring, so you went inside. As you entered you saw a figure. It looked like a woman, but as she walked toward you, you saw her limping. Her legs... oh god, her legs. One was bronze? And the other a donkey's? This was not making any sense. Instincts took over, and you dodged as one of her legs came flying up to meet your face. You ran, somehow knowing that you must follow your nightmares. You ran for about half an hour, not looking back once. You reached the place in your dreams. You climbed the hill, stopping only when you got to the top. The view was incredible! It had endless strawberry fields, a climbing wall with orange liquid flowing down the sides. Beautiful, unique cabins and a big arena. It looked so cool! Just as you were about to enter, a voice caught your attention.
"Leaving so soon?"
It was that weird lady again.
"Look, I don't know who you are, but would please stop following me!" Your voice shook, despite the fact that you were trying to sound brave.
"I don't usually kill girls, but for you, demigod, I can make an exception."
Kill me? Demigod? This has to be some sort of nightmare. Just as you were about to reply, cries came from behind you.
"Empousa!"
You looked around, confused and saw a girl not that much older than you, with choppy hair that framed a beautiful face.
"Careful!" You cried. She simply smiled at you and charged the monster. It was a short but deadly fight. The girl moved so quick it was inhumane. In no time she had disposed of the monster and gold dust littered the floor.
"What the hell was that?" You demanded.
"An empousa. Easy enough to get rid of. I'm Piper McLean" She extended a hand.
"Elise Miller." You said.
She escorted you down the hill, and filled you in on the way. Apparently, you were the daughter of a
Greek God or Goddess. You soon got claimed by Hecate and became fast friends with Lou Ellen, your half-sister.

How you and Connor started dating:
"STOLLS!"
You were furious. All of your potions you had been making with your sister, Lou Ellen, had been swapped, so when you tried to use them they had all exploded in your face, so now you had pink hair and your clothes were covered in flashing stars. You stormed to the Hermes cabin and demanded to know where they were. After lots of threats, you finally found out that the Stolls were hiding in the forest. You sprinted there, and used a tracking spell quickly found them. Hiding in a tree.
"STOLLS! Get down here right now!" You screamed up.
"Now why would we do that?" Came Travis's voice.
"Yeah, you'll probably turn us into piglets!" Connor laughed.
They continued to stay up there, taunting you, whilst you threw up insults. Gradually, you decided to try a different tactic. You walked away and used a cloaking spell to hide your flashing clothes. Eventually the Stolls started to descend, laughing. You silently followed them, eavesdropping on their conversation.
"C'mon dude, you have it bad." Travis laughed.
"Shut up!" Came the reply.
"Connor, you've liked her for 2 years now! Make a move!"
"I can't. She hates me! All I do is prank her." Connor moaned.
"Yeah, but maybe if you just confessed to her, she'd warm up to you." Travis urged.
Your curiosity got the better of you, and you continued to follow them.
"No way. She'd shoot me down." Connor said.
"For the love of gods, just go up to Elise and talk to her!" Travis exclaimed.
You stopped short. Making a split second decision, you threw a ball and Travis turned into a squealing piglet.
"Travis?" Connor asked.
You stepped out of the trees. Your clothes had returned to normal, and your hair had faded back to It's normal brown. "It's temporary."
He stared at you.
"Um... I... er" Connor stuttered. "How long were you there?"
"Long enough." Your heart was beating fast.
"Oh. Well. Then I guess you already know."
"Know what?" You asked innocently.
Connor turned beet red. Then sighed. "Well, I've got nothing to lose."
Before you could react, he stepped forward, grabbed your waist and kissed you. For a second, you were stunned, but then you began to kiss back. It was incredible. When you broke apart, you were both blushing.
"So, will you be my girlfriend?" Connor asked.
"Is that even a question?" You smiled as you took his hand. You walked away, Connor looking ecstatic, and you smiling giddily.
"Hey, what should we do about Travis?" You asked.
Connor chuckled. "He'll find his way back. He's a big boy."
You walked back to the cabins, where he dropped you off and promised he'd never play pranks on the Hecate cabin again. At least, not without you knowing about it.
