Yep that sounds good! Maybe do the second week in March, that way people will be more motivated to read them before the time frame.
Ok I'm putting out sign ups for the March Team Bingo now. I'll close them the day before March 1st, and post the teams on the 1st. It will be a little tight time wise but should be fine.

Thanks!
I just posted the team for the readathon. I ran out of discussion thread topics so unless someone else is able to create the team threads (hint hint hehe) I will make them in an hour :)
Thanks!

I can make them! I also need an idea for the March prompt (yearlong challenge) that relates to the BOTM in some way...what do you guys think?
Ooo ok great! Basically just label each one "Team ___", and insert the name of the team, which are listed on the Rainbow Readathon sign up thread. Then, just be like "here is your team discussion thread" and copy+paste the members list.
Otherwise if you make the thread, I can update the header?
Hmmm for the prompt... maybe.... read a book set in a mythical land or something? Or read an enemies to lovers?

Hi! So I came across on IG that someone is doing a amazon wishlist swap. (I know last time when I did the february book swap it didnt end well), but what about if I make a google forum, and do one of those random generators pick who they have. (And yes I will save the spreadsheet and not mess it up)
Sure? Haha it's fine the book swap turned out good especially since it was all of ours' first time doing something like that.
What do you mean exactly though?

So like what we would actually be doing? Like people would create amazon wishlists, then what? Sorry I've never done something like this lol
Also we need to start planning our April Challenge! I know someone mentioned (possibly if I remember correctly) doing like a team TBR spring cleaning challenge or something? Sorry I can't recall exactly who it was, so let me know.
Oh yah that was me lol! I mentioned a sort of Spring Cleaning Challenge. I was thinking it would be sort of like the TBR challenge but in teams because I feel like people like the teams better
Oh haha cool! I love that idea and the name is perfect.
So Sarah, would you want to run the Spring Cleaning Challenge?
I'm going to put out a broadcast today with some updates about the upcoming challenge, current challenge, and BOTM .
Do you all want to continue doing BOTMs? They aren't getting very much activity, so I don't know if it is worth it to keep them going. We could come up without something new and fun in place of them? Let me know what everyone thinks!

Yah I can totally run the Spring Cleaning event! As for the BOTMs I think we could change them up a bit don’t know how but I think it would be cool!
Ok cool! That would be great! I was thinking we could start planning the details and all now (I don't think it would be overly complicated?) and put out sign ups maybe in a week or so?
I'll start thinking about some things to spice the BOTM up a bit haha

Sorry for not replying i've been busy with midterms. So basically people who want to participate will fill out a Google Form with simple questions (Name, Amazon wish list link, and if they dont have any what is 1 bookish item you would receive.) I can even add another question regarding they can put their address to get it sent there. and then ill use a random generator and tell them who they have and it'll be due on a date.
Okay some quick things I wanted to run by you guys about the spring cleaning challenge. So the format would be like a readathon where you have teams and the team with the most read books wins. Also should we add prompts like “read a book that you’ve wanted to read for over a year” or “read the book that had been on your tbr the longest” for fun and extra points? And I think one of the rules is going to be that you can’t read a book you already read because the challenge is to read books on your tbr what do you guys think??

All good :)
That would be cool! If you want to do something like that, it's fine with me. I feel like that could be done any month along with another challenge. (like that wouldn't be the only challenge for the month). So they would actually be sending a gift to another member?

That sounds great! I like the prompts ideas, if you need help coming up with some just let us know. :)
I think the no rereads rule is good too. I would add that they need to already be on your Goodreads TBR shelf but that seems like it would be harder to regulate since people could just add whatever book they are reading?

Yah we are just going to have to trust that it is already on their want to read shelf also I’m going to post the sign up today so people have a good 10 days or so to sign up but it might be a bit later on today since it’s Persian New Years today and everything is a bit crazy lol
Hey so quick question as I am currently about to open up sign ups for the spring cleaning Challenge, do you guys think we should have the point system according to the number of pages in the book or just each book counts as one point? Let me know!
Hmm maybe do page points? Otherwise people end up just reading shorter books and receiving the same amount of points as people who take the time to read a long one. Only if you don't mind having to add the extra points each time XD
Oof okay I just posted sign ups sorry it took a while my touchpad on my laptop was lagging but I fix it (sort of) also should I send out a message that sign-ups are up? To remind people
Ooo they look great! Yah that would probably be a good idea!
Hey guys so I’m currently posting the teams but I’m trying to post the last team and for some reason it won’t let me. Can someone post it for me? If not then I can try again later but it’s late and I have school really early so I won’t be able still the morning probably. If yes these just copy paste: Team Sunshine
Team Sunshine:
- Fanny
- Nikita
- Natalie
- Alethea
- Opal
This is the discussion board for your team, talk about the books you are reading and have fun!
Ahh sorry I was probably asleep XD
Yeah goodreads made a new update a month or so ago that only let see you post three new topics per hour. It's super annoying

Question; is it too late for me to join the spring clean up challenge? I literally just saw it today i've been busy with school that I havent been on as much. if not it's totally fine lol.
Actually yes! I forgot to add someone and now the teams are uneven but if I add you to a team and myself to another it will be even so ima do that!
Omg thank you! Haha I completely forgot! I'll update the final scores this afternoon then make a winner announcement :)
Hey guys! Sorry, I haven't been active I have 1 and a half months of school and I will soon be free lol! I was wondering if we are doing anything for this month and if we are also doing a BOTM? If we want to do something (BOTM or some other challenge) let me know if I can help!
Hey! so I feel like the group has been a bit down lately and I'm free since it's the last week of school and was wondering if we should do another challenge or maybe a readathon to get the group moving?
We could do that! I have work today but I can do something when I get off (and sorry I haven't been active! Had finals in May)
Okay cool! I was thinking we could do it beginning of July and announce it maybe this week or next week so we have time to plan stuff out and ppl can have more time to sign up
Thanks for setting up the reading challenge stuff, I totally forgot! Also the post says October, is it supposed to be July?
Just wanted to let you guys know that I am about to start things for the BOTM I don't think we have done one in a bit so I was thinking of doing it again and am about to post ideas for themes so people can vote
