That's hilarious Ruth! Can't say any of our dogs have done that.... But one of our females, Ruth, is absolutely PATHETIC when it's time to groom/trim nails!! She begs for it. 😂

Emma | meadowroselibrary I just had to share this-my mom found it yesterday and we laughed SOO hard!! (Sorry it has nothing to do with dogs...😅)

I came and thrived with a vengence.
The tulips are so tall!
What flowers are in the foreground in the
second photo?

message 388: by Joanna (new)

Joanna Thank Ruth. :) The gardener can't take much credit this time of year...everything just grows without much help!
The blue flowers? They are forget-me-nots.

I’m just enjoying the trees in full bloom in my area. Also enjoying listening to the birds chirping early in the morning. I not sure who enjoys it more, me or my kitties. Lol

I love hearing the birds singing early in the morning too, Doreen. The robins start about an hour before it even starts to get light. Up here this time of year that's about 2:30 AM!
How many cats do you have? I've got two...Nastya and Olga. They are part Bengal and can be quite mischievous! :D And yes, they love watching birds...and squirrels! Lol

I had 4. 2 boys and 2 girls but we lost our oldest Ruth Edwina last Oct. 23rd to a blood clot and a stroke. So now we have 3. 2 boys and a girl. Being disabled they having them helps me a lot at home. I love them dearly

message 394: by Joanna (new)

Joanna Aww, I'm so sorry about little Ruth Edwina. Glad you still have 3 though! I can't imagine life without my kitties and their antics. Just yesterday they decapitated a mouse and laid it at my feet during our morning prayers! :o

Oh my Philip Thomas gutted a poor field mouse that someone got into the house and was flipping the remains in the air one time when I was still working when I can home from work. I choked on my coffee and darned near had a heart attack. Needless to say I had to dispose of the remains of the dearly departed “Willard” with a plastic shopping bag and bring he out to the garbage can outside. All the time battling Philip for possession of said remains because apparently he wasn’t finished and I said he was. Lol

Oh goodness! My old cat Stripe (he died a few years ago at 17) used to bring still alive mice to me in the middle of the night. Yikes! He seemed to think I should eat them, but I was never hungry. ;D I'd just praise him and tell him what a mighty hunter he was, and eventually he'd kill and eat it himself...
