Yeah, I’m hoping that one will be pretty easy to come across - especially in YA!

I figured as long as it met the page count requirement & I read the entire book of short stories, that it’d be alright. If not, I have a back up.
This is all I could find in the Q & A...I will allow pseudonyms and collaborations - this is supposed to be fun after all. 😉
ETA: Anthologies will not be allowed though.

Just FYI, in my tracking post this will be listed at 288 pages, because we have to use the kindle edition if there is one.

No problem! I just wanted you to know why my page count was less, especially since this is a task that requires a minimum of pages. :)

Lol, all the things! I'm multi-tasking over here. :) On a serious note, that book works for 15 points for Dodger stadium in baseball. I've read all of the Mortal Instrument series and am slowly making my way through this set but it's a pretty good read and Jace and Clary make an appearance.
It's a pretty good series. You could always start it on audible and listen to it over a period of time. They did not do the movie justice but that's okay. The books are so much better.
Just dropping in for an update - I have about 40-ish pages left in my book & as soon as I finish it, I’m coming here first thing to post it!

Awesome Frankie! I'll keep an eye out (while I cross my fingers that one of the 8 books I'm trying to get finished this week will fit our next task. LOL!)

I’m hoping the next task here will work for science fiction because I haven’t picked one out yet for that other challenge.

But, but...I've already started one for that! If we get a sci fi task here too, I'll have to start another one right away!! Noooooo. LOL!

But I also know I'm doomed now because MKat's randomizer has a long history of hating me. LOL!
Hopefully, we will get a really good randomizer. Maybe one of the ones where we read a book a teammate suggests?

Please remember to use the Kindle edition page count - that is what we are using in this challenge, regardless of the actual edition you read. (Can you imagine if I required that and all you did was listen to books like me?!)
Here is your next task:34. Read 4 books 300 pages or longer.
Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count! 😊
I hope the randomizer did ok. 🤞🏼
This is a great task. I'll wait until the tasks for my Exploration challenge are posted tonight so I can double up :)

Awh, shucks. Well that wouldn’t be good, then! So no sci-fi then!🤞🏼 LOL.
MountainKat wrote: "I hope the randomizer did ok. 🤞🏼"I think the randomizer did a wonderful job - thanks, MountainKat!
Lucky for me, the science fiction book I had planned to read next is 338 pages (Kindle edition, of course!) Woo - I’m happy!
I'm going ahead and going to read Amy Harmon's book What the Wind Knows. It fits science fiction and has more than 300 pages. :)

I just marked both those books to read. I'm halfway through mine and should have it finished tomorrow night. I took a break because I need a mindless read at work and this one I gotta focus on more. That baseball book may come in handy one day. That other one just looks good.

Okay, so now I need to read all of the Amy Harmon books. I'm going to need to figure out a way to fit a book in next week also. I really liked this book too. I'm sometimes hesitant on science fiction but it was really good. I loved how she's able to tell a story and cross so many genres but still have the essence of the characters. I was totally absorbed in Anne's story. Yep, I gave it a 5 also. :)

Here is your next task:69. Read over 750 pages in books about the same profession, teams decide which profession.
Professions such as Law enforcement, athlete or musician are fine. Just don't try to pass off both a rancher and a chef as both being in the food industry - they just aren't close enough. Remember to let me know how you know the profession! Is it in the precis or title? Series name? Tagged or on a list? I need to know where to look to confirm you books. Don't forget to use the first edition Kindle page count!
