Hope you feel better soon Frankie! I'm right there with Leslie and have all the other challenges also. I'm currently on the hunt for a halfway decent book with the lovely letter Q in the title that could also work for one of these other million challenges.

Thanks for being understanding, ladies. That means a lot to me & is extremely appreciated. :]I should be done tonight or in the morning, for sure. (PS: Having a hard time connecting with the female MC on this one... Did anyone else feel that way with Vixen and the Vet?)

I remember having a bit of a hard time getting into it and then by the end I loved it.
I listened to it on audible and that helped a great deal. I think it would've been harder for me if I had read it. I did have to read the last few chapters just to get it done faster but listening helped.
I ended up giving mine a pretty good rating. It did get much better as you read it but I will definitely go back to read some other books in the series. I go back to work every day this week instead of some work at home days which means an hour in the car each day so I can pick up my audiobooks again. It’s not always easy listening to audiobooks at home as it is in the car.

You shouldn't feel bad at all. I'm actually glad you chose that one. It's interesting to me that Vixen and the Vet started off a struggle for me but I ended up loving it, and the opposite happened for Never Let You Go. I am still interested in reading a few of the others in the series too. I'm actually bummed that she gave up on Swan Song (retelling of the Ugly Ducking). I was really looking forward to that one.

I didn't know that!! It's definitely one on my list.

I'm going to mark that one to read. I'm slowly catching up my challenges. I have such a hot mess in that Olympic world. I think I lost my partner in something. I have a busier afternoon so hopefully tomorrow I can figure out things. Frankie, hope it's getting better for you.

Yeah, I've only been adding some of the main ones that I can double up on and totally not getting all the points in most of them. I have lots of fun challenges going on and I'm glad this week that the books are fitting in the puzzle better than last week. :)

Task: 25. Each player reads a book in a series, teams decide. No pass for this task.
How it Fits: Book 1 in Modern Fairytales series
Leslie wrote: "I really liked the Dark Sexy Knight...especially as it parallels her own life."That’s the one I wanted to read originally, but then ended up deciding to just stick with book 1 first.
Yay - here is your next task:66. As a team, pick a list with over 100 romance books on it, each member reads a book from that list. No pass for this task.
For this task, you are limited to Romance lists. You can read the same or different books as long as they are on the list you select. Please include the number on the list for the book you choose and a link to the list.
Hmm... interesting! I’ll let you guys choose some romance lists for us to choose from. I’m sure there are a lot out there that have a good variety of books on it!
I think we had chosen Best Book Boyfriends list for #66. Is everyone still good with that list? It has over 9,000 books, so we should all be able to find something great to read.

Yep! Any of the tasks that we had to decide on as a team (except maybe 1 or 2 that required a little more info closer to their selection) can be found in the tracking post.

Cool, I'm waiting to see if this book fits a third challenge but I know it fits two so I'm going to go with it. I've never read this author before that I know of so I'm hoping she's okay. Die for Me by Amy Plum
It's number 365 on that list.
This task is a win for me! I'm going to read Slammed by Colleen Hoover. It works for at least 2 other challenges and has been on my TBR for over a year :)

I. LOVE. THAT. BOOK!!
I. LOVE. THAT. BOOK!!
I'm reading Just Listen. It's not what I *WANT* to read from the list, but I kinda got my hands tied with another challenge and needed to find one I that fit both that I could get to right away. I have a feeling it's going to affect my rating of the book just because I'd rather be reading a different one. LOL!
Just a heads up...there are definitely some tasks out there that aren't on the original list we were working with. Anything above #75 hasn't been discussed/decided.

Yeah, you guys are probably gonna have to remind me each time we come across one we have already discussed.😂 I have been very forgetful lately. Hopefully I’ll remember to look at the tracking post that Cyndee made. LOL.

I think I’m gonna go with Catching Fire, since it’s also on the Conspiracy Fiction list that I need to read from for another challenge. :]
I think I may change my book. I picked that one based on flowers being on the cover and then the flowers were stolen and now I need an author's name. I'm going to do some research tomorrow and see but I have a feeling a switch may be happening.
Just kidding, I'm keeping it because I think it's easier to keep this one and find a different book for the other challenge. Whew!
bamaace83 wrote: "Just kidding, I'm keeping it because I think it's easier to keep this one and find a different book for the other challenge. Whew!"LOL! So much easier, huh? & less time consuming.😂

I read the Kindle Edition that had 311 pages...6th edition listed on GoodReads

Yep so much less time consuming! I have started my book for here though so hopefully can get it done tonight. Slammed is on my list. I may need to start figuring out where to slip in some of these tbr books that just keep getting longer.
I'll be done with mine tonight. :)
Mines done so as soon as I get settled in at work I’ll scramble around and update things. I think it fits for a few challenges that I’m in. I actually really liked it and I’m already planning on reading the next ones in the series.

Woohoo all done! Looks like we all liked our books this time. I may need to add another on to that ever growing tbr list. Now, we get to get a new task. :)

Yep! I checked us in right after I was done posting so we should probably see something by this evening! It's still relatively early in MKat's corner of the world. :D

Here is Task 6:10. Read 4 books tagged/shelved as PNR or fantasy.
The tag does not have to be MPG, but the book does have to be tagged as paranormal or fantasy to qualify. The tags can be combined with romance.
