Phrynne, if I was going to choose one, which would you recommend? I haven’t read anything by her before.
Any one of them Andrea! Quite seriously if you don't like the one you pick out of those three then you won't like her books at all:)
(By the way, they are a bit different from modern historical romance books in that there is no sex in them at all.)

Thanks Phrynne. I’ve always been curious, but didn’t know where to start. I might try the Sophy one, as I have at least heard of it before.
There's a new AmazonCrossing (translations) Read Now that looks interesting. Split: A Novel by Alida Bremer. The blurb begins:"Nazis, spies, romance, and murder collide in prewar eastern Europe in a mesmerizing historical novel by the award-winning author of Oliva’s Garden. It’s 1936. The seaside-resort village of Split on the Adriatic coast bustles."

Browsing NG I came across this https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/boo...Wet Hot Allosaurus Summer, described as "dinosaur erotica". I've never heard of this: it it a thing? How bizarre!

OMG that’s hilarious! Some of her other titles make me think it’s a thing for her, at least 😆

No send-to-kindle but you can download the epub file to read offline. That's fine for me but not for some others. I commented to NetGalley that Amazon is limiting the audience for their authors by not offering the send-to-kindle option.
Barren Grounds by AA B. Michael Radburn (Pantera Press) is available for request. I don't see it listed on Goodreads yet (ISBN 9780648571506).

On NG's main page - I've been unable to download a book to kindle all day and emailed the publisher.

Aha! I think that's good news, Brenda. Perhaps that means the books we're all interested in WILL be available other than on the app.

Brenda wrote: "Murder at Abbeymead Farm plus Close Her Eyes both on NG."Well spotted Brenda! I requested Close Her Eyes this morning and was just going to add it here!

Carolyn wrote: "Brenda wrote: "Murder at Abbeymead Farm plus Close Her Eyes both on NG."I just fixed up the entry for Close Her Eyes (there is two authors with the same name) and added it to the series - just wondering if anyone has read the rest of this series it looks great
Are you talking about the Lisa Regan series Bec? I've read each and every one, and love them, but I think it's important to read from the beginning :)
Brenda wrote: "Are you talking about the Lisa Regan series Bec?
