15.4 Ring in the New
Read ONE book that satisfies BOTH Book 1 and Book 2 requirements.
Book 1 - Read a book first published between March 1, 2014 and February 28, 2015.

Book 2 - Read a book identified on GR as book #1 in a series. (series, #1)

Keep Me Safe by Maya Banks
Goodreads Author

25.8 -- Hana C's task: Merry Saturnalia!
This is a TWO book task.

Book One
My gift to you is that your first book for this task can be any book of your choice, as long as it meets general SRC requirements. Have fun!
Beautiful Oblivion by Jamie McGuire
Goodreads Author

Book Two Sugarplums and Scandal (Includes Love at Stake, #2.5) by Lori Avocato
1. Saturnalia is a winter holiday, so read a book that shows an outside winter landscape complete with snow. Required: Include the cover in your post.

50.1 - Teri-K's task: Let's Start the New Year Off Right
I chose options 1, 2, and 5.
Option 1) Close, But Not Quite:
The first option for Andy P's task, 25.2 - Hats off to Translators, called for a book translated into English from a Romance language.
I chose to read The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson by Jonas Jonasson, translated from the original Swedish. Swedish is not a Romance language.
Option 2) Try, Try Again:
I chose to read The Woman Who Died A Lot (Thursday Next, #7) by Jasper Fforde by Jasper Fforde. I purchased this when it released in the US in October 2012, started it immediately, and then stopped almost as fast about 3 chapters in because 1) I didn't particularly like what Jasper'd done to Thursday and 2) the sad (irrational) realization that Jasper is only going to write 1 or 2 more Thursday books then THERE WILL BE NO MORE NEW THURSDAY BOOKS TO READ. The book still had the purchase receipt marking my place when I picked it back up for this task. This book is not a re-read.
Option 5) Be Resolved:
I chose to read The World Between Two Covers Reading the Globe by Ann Morgan by Ann Morgan. One of my New Year's resolutions is to read more diversely and read more books in translation from around the world. To that end, I requested an advance galley of Ann's book - an expansion of her thoughts about finding authors' works in translation and the roadblocks she encountered during her year of "reading around the world" - from the publisher, Liveright (expected US publication date is May 11, the book is already out in the UK). This book is not a re-read.
(books were approved in the task help-thread here)
**Ann Morgan is a Goodreads Author, I'd like to claim a GRA ticket**
