Based off suggestions from the group, with a few minor additions and tweaks, here's the first (maybe of many) D&J Suggestion Challenge:

2020 Dragons and Jetpacks Challenge

1. Beginner- read a book that’s at least 100 pages
2. A book that doesn’t have animals or people on the cover.
3. A book set in the 1700’s
4. A book that you loved as a child (say, through grade school/12 years old)
5. A book that’s been made into a movie or tv show (but not the other way around)
6. A book published in the year you were born.
7. Intermediate- read a book that’s at least 200 pages
8. A Young Adult book.
9. A previous D&J Book of The Month you missed/was before you joined.
10. A book with any kind of artificial lifeform on the cover.
11. A graphic novel.
12. A book recommended by a D&J member/a D&J member gave 5 stars.
13. A classic (define how you care to) you haven’t read.
14. A book where a major character works in the same field you do.
15. Apprentice- read a book that’s at least 300 pages.

I'm going to give this one a shot. I found I was struggle through the other challenge and making myself read books that I didn't like just so I could complete the challenge. It was making me not like reading...

This one though, it looks less ambitious and I think will help me branch out a bit more without the pressure to finish everything I start....
