Oh sorry! When you started your post with "finished" I thought you meant the whole challenge:) Good luck with the rest then!
Thanks Brenda :D

Oh no I feel like a deceiver, I'm changing that :P
I thought I was going to be down to the wire with finishing this challenge, but I finished my third- and second-last books in the last couple of days - Lovesong by Alex Miller (4★) and Elianne by Judy Nunn (4.5★). Now I'm reading The Opal Desert by Di Morrissey, which is my last, and I'm enjoying the descriptions of the outback town of Lightning Ridge and its surrounds. It's making me want to go there!
Finally posted my review for All the Light We Cannot See, a brilliant 5★ read.(I'm not sure why it's so much harder to write a review for a really good book.)

Now, back to the last book for this challenge, The Way of Kings (670 pages to go!)!
Well I won't be finishing the challenge this time. I'm surprised I got through 6. Between biopsies for skin cancer and other referrals, early assessments for uni, and everyday life in general, sometimes just sitting down and reading a book in itself can be a challenge.

Congratulations on reading six Kelly :) I do hope the skin cancer scare is a good result..
Good luck with uni..you'd be back Monday wouldn't you?

We had an introduction lecture already, but my first tutorial is on Friday. We have weekly small assessments, first one due on Friday (which I have already done). But it is second year after all.I already know I have 2 different types of skin cancer, hence the referrals. Skin Cancer isn't just an older persons cancer.

No I know it's not Kelly; it's prevalent in young people as well...good luck with it.
Good luck with uni too:)

Well it took me almost a month but I finally finished Ulysses by James Joyce. I am not quite sure yet what I think about this book. It is definitely not the worst book I have ever read but I can't say I would rate it up there in my top 100 either. I have given it 3 stars for now but I may review it at a later date.
Well done on finishing Ulysses Jennifer. That's a feat in itself! (I've never got past the funeral scene!)

Only one book to go for me, I did get distracted along the way, but hope to read Rebecca this week to finish off the reduced Summer Challenge..Spell It Out!

We're going away for the weekend, with no internet access, so will let you know on Tuesday if I've been successful in finishing the challenge :-)
Hi Brenda, your record reading speeds have been an inspiration to me and already I have improved significantly, so thank you (and B Bookaddict) !!Unfortunately, I will not be able to finish my last Summer Challenge book. I have to work today and have guests tonight who will stay over night for brunch also (and a few afternoon bevvies in all likelihood). I thought about cancelling but didn't think they'd understand LOL...

Thanks Ace:) It's nice to think we inspire some people;) Don't worry about not quite finishing - life often tends to get in the way...you've almost made it and for that I congratulate you! It's a fabulous effort, and I'm sure you'll finish that last one in the next few days anyway! February cheats with only 28 days;)
