Susan | 143 comments Fool by Christopher Moore. I found the humor more Benny Hill than Douglas Adams, and it kept retreading the same tone-deaf jokes. 2/5 It was on my TBR, and it just happened to fit, so I didn't have to look around for a book that fit. Short titles are probably the key.

Angela | 389 comments What are you reading for this category?
Police, by Jo Nesbo
Police (Harry Hole, #10) by Jo Nesbø

2. Was it difficult to find titles that fit?
It definitely was challenging. Most book titles tend to have the letter ‘t’.

message 157: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleym99) I read Gone Girl as this fit and I have been meaning to read it for awhile. There were a few books that fit this prompt.

message 158: by Emily (new)

Emily This prompt was a lot harder than I thought!

I read :

1. A Book with a Title that Doesn't Contain the Letters A, T or Y: Recursion by Blake Crouch

Like Dark Matter I found Recursion to be a really interesting scify read and I thought it was unique and thoroughly enjoyed it.

message 159: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Patrick | 25 comments I am going to read Smile by Roddy Doyle.
I had some difficulty finding a book for this topic. For most of this year I was going to my library and choosing ones at random. A friend of mine pointed this out for me after I told her I was having trouble.

Roxana (luminate) | 767 comments Sooooo just a thought/question for general discussion - I noticed Rivers of London was one of the suggestions for this prompt, and I happened to read it this month...but in a copy with the Midnight Riots title. (US vs UK I think.) "Midnight Riots" doesn't work for the prompt. But the alternate title does. Would you count it if it were you? I'm just curious, more than anything else. :)

Personally? No, but I have lots of other options that work.

Emily (emilyesears) | 412 comments I read Spinning Silver for this. It was already on my TBR so it wasn't hard to find a book for this.

message 163: by Jo (new)

Jo (josethi) | 16 comments I read Rick by Alex Gino. With the author of George you can't go wrong.

Courtney Blocher | 112 comments 1. What are you reading for this category?
I re-read Catching Fire. Every year, I like to re-read at least one series.

2. Was it difficult to find titles that fit?
This prompt was easy to find and fill since I wanted to read this one at some point this year.

Suzanne | 349 comments 1. What are you reading for this category?

I read Mr. Fox by Helen Oyeyemi

2. Was it difficult to find titles that fit?

It was relatively easy to find something to fit. I am trying to read a book by every author (that I haven't read already) on the Abe List of 100 Essential Female Writers. I started looking around at books by these authors and I found this one. What was difficult was following the plot of this book.

Normally I'd say no but that's such an amazing book, I refuse to stand in the way of you reading it!

I just finished that book, and I found it so sexist that it actually made me mad.
