Oh my goodness this is just about the hardest question ever...
I would say:
1. The Unwanteds
2. To Kill a Mockingbird
3. Kira-Kira
4. The WHOLE Harry Potter series. :)
5. The Hunger Games

I have never read The Blood of Olympus, so I don't know how good it is. It sounds like it should be a good book, so i'll read it. :)

It was a bit of dry at times, and one's experience largely depends on the translator, but the archetypical level in which the events took place overrode that for me.

I feel like I should read The Maze Runner...what is it about?

Set in the future where a solar flare set off a virus destroying most of the population. About 60 boys are trapped in a piece of land surrounded by a maze. Everyday "runners" go out to try to map it. They begin the learn more things and what they have to do the escape. There is one new person every month and "Thomas" comes through as a the new one for the month. But the day after that someone comes through a girl and she has an important note. I can't say much more without giving it all away but it's a really cool series and I think you should read it.

Torn Away by Jennifer Brown and The Fallen World trilogy by Megan Crewe, the first on is called The Way We Fall. Torn Away is super sad but probably one of the best books I've ever read. And The Fallen World trilogy is fantastic. Can't really think of anything else to recommend.
