I am new at this. Do we need to request that a thread be set up?

message 702: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments I'll do the Codex Alera series too. I was going to read a different fantasy series for this but I'll read Codex instead. I already own one of those too.

It's fine to ask here Michelle. I just missed your first request. I'll set it up later tonight :).

Usually a thread is set up as soon as we see that you have people to read it with and a start date. I'm just a little behind on other things this evening. I'll have a thread set up for you soon :).

If forgot what this book was and had to go back to try and find it.

I don't know about Halo yet, but how about Dec 1st for Touch (Denazen, #1) by Jus Accardo ?

I think I'll be able to read Halo by the start of January, as I'm fist in line for that book, but could be because it was just lend.

I'd be interested in The Dragon Keeper. I have too much going on in December already. Would mid January work for you?

I'm trying to get A Modern Witch for December BOM. Otherwise I may burn my January Pirate Treasure BOM on it :) I haven't decided yet.

I'll be reading Dead in the Family sometime in the next week or two.

Otherwise Beautiful Creatures, Breaking Nova and Dark Witch are all on my to-read list sometime soon :)

I don't have any particular dates. I tend to read fast so I can shift other non BR books around to fit any dates you want. Maybe we should see if anyone else wants to join in on those.

Want to start Dead in the Family this Friday (11/7)? We'll still get credit for it as long as you don't read it all in a day. Mine is due back in 6 days :)

I'm hesitant to read Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn ...main reason is I really struggled with both Dark Places by Gillian Flynn and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn . I don't know if it was the writing style or what, but both books took me almost a week to read and I typically knock out a book in 3 days or so. I'll consider it, but maybe I need some time apart from Ms. Flynn before I try!

message 739: by Shinjini (new)

Shinjini (shinjini14) | 292 comments Sadie, February 5th works for me. And will we be waiting for others to join for A Game of Thrones or shall we request the thread?

message 740: by Damini (new)

Damini | 63 comments Shinjini- First week will be fine with me. :)

Stephanie- That's great! Will first week of December work for you?

Ashley- I want to read that as well. After reading Gone Girl, I'm eager to read all other books by Flynn. So if there's a BR for Sharp Objects, I'd gladly join.

I'm picking up Wolf from the library today, and The Winter People should be there early next week. I don't know how many people are ahead of me for The Dinosaur Feather.

If anyone is interested in reading one of these three in the next month (or longer, for The Dinosaur Feather) let me know.
