Sorry to hop in so late- busy times for me. My name is Justin Alcala. I'm an author by day and Batman by night. I live in Chicago and am a big fan of horror, fantasy, scifi and absurdist fiction. I'm a very playfully weird guy, so please don't take me serious...I know I don't. Hey everyone!

I'm Brittain and I am a cartographer with a non-profit environmental group. I read (way too much) and coach soccer as well. I'm also a camp counselor for about...80 7-10 year olds which basically turned me into a glorified border collie.

I love paranormal and fantasy stuff but I'm also a big fan of Southern literature. I'll devour pretty much anything you set in front of me as far as books go though.

I'm just now starting a blog named after my dog and I love talking books and life and whatever else :-)

Hi everyone, my name is Miranda. I recently graduated but am still in school for my additional CPA credits. I am 35, have a husband and a herd of rescue animals (4 cats & 2 dogs), kind of like having a herd of 2 year yolds. I love to read, my profile doesn't reflect it as much because I'm lazy about adding my new reads, but I read 2-3+ books a week. I also love to game, watch football, and play with the herd of animals before mentioned. Also I listen to audio books when commutting in rush hour traffic. Luckily I have been assigned off site from our main office and now have a five minute commute, for now, but I miss audio books.

Yes, luckily the one dog can herd cats. All the cats started out life feral. The 2 oldest aren't bothered by strangers but the 2 youngest lose their minds over it. Yesterday we had a guy in to tear open a wall and set up a dehumidifier on it, we didn't know wind had damaged or roof and developed a leak into the wall. Needless to say I was soothing some tattered nerves last night. The youngest I didn't see until 5am this morning the second youngest OTOH told me all about it, loudly, and at length.

I am not an avid reader but trying to cultivate the habit. Not much in fiction also. History and politics attract me much than the fairy tales. Urdu poetry holds a special reading shelve in my library.
Apart from reading I am an avid gamer, Equestrian, amateur photographer, a little into arts and craft, Wanderlust, enjoy listening to classical musics(ghazals and such).
