The fourth book in a cozy mystery series that releases next month.Checked Out for Murder (The Haunted Library Mysteries, #4) by Allison Brook
My Review - 4 Stars
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I've enjoyed all the Graham Brack novels I've read so far, and the second in the Master Mercurius historical mystery series is another winner. Untrue till Death takes place in the Netherlands in the 17th century, full of murder and intrigue with the author's trademark humour.

"Books are feasts for the imagination. Who cares if there's barbed wire around the walls. This is our escape. Right here, in all these glorious words. Between these pages, we can be free as the birds. We can go anywhere we please!"
A roller coaster read filled with steep hills, overcoming obstacles and trepidation of life's bumpy road. Through the characters' courageous actions, readers will travel along with them depicting a historical account of remaining brave during the darkest circumstances.

Just finished "What Became of Us" and I give it 4 stars. It proves that you can't judge a book by its sweet cover as there are so many twists and turns to discover that will delight readers. Maxwell unleashes a chain of events that will reawaken the past and expose guarded secrets.

I just finished and absolutely loved Kristin Hannah's "The Four Winds."
Elsa Martinelli and her children moved west for a better life. The Dust Bowl and Great Depression forced families to leave behind their barren, dust-laden lands that they loved despite hardships. Elsa bravely lets the winds cast their fate at a new future in pursuit of the American dream.
Although this a fictional account, women like Elsa often wore the pants in the family. That chapter is often overlooked in history books but Hannah's "The Four Winds" gives homage to those heroic women.
My five-starred review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
