I really enjoyed this one. It had very good pacing and kept me wanting to know what would happen next. I continue to love the characters, and the evolution of Claire as a character is fun to watch. For once, things actually felt fairly wrapped up at the end of this one, so I'm curious to see where it goes from here.

This is a cute re-telling of a fairytale classic. Ella is cursed at birth by a tricksome fairy and made to always be obidient. Like the original, after the death of Ella's Father she is left to fend for herself and live alongside her wicked step mother and two step sisters and you have the gist. It was a nice, cute story although the first part of the book was nothing like the original it morphed into the Cinderella story we know half way through. So I kept thinking that I am reading. I am sure most adolescent girls would love this.

With this book this series is definitely ramping up! I am still not loving this series as much as ACOTAR but it is a good substitution for now. Looking at the 3rd book it looks like it should get even better so I am definitely excited! Definitely a bit more romance in this one and more action.

Book 3 of The Wedding Collection Series
Rating: 5 stars
Review: This story is told from the points of view of two women in two different time periods: Miss Cora in the 1930’s and Hailey in present day. Miss Cora is running a bridal store called The Wedding Shop through the Great Depression and the story goes into a lot of details about her personal life. Hailey is just returning home from after separating from the Air Force and struggling to renovate and reopen The Wedding Shop. Rachel Hauck does an amazing job with both characters’ storylines and how they mingle and relate to each other. Before I started reading, I didn’t read that it was part of a series but it really didn’t effect my enjoyment to not have read the previous two books. I am looking forward to reading them, though.
