Since we're lacking cover prompts, I'm going to give my first round suggestion another go.A book by an author with a colour in their name, where that colour also appears on the cover.
Some examples:
Just checking that the first post with the rules listed is correct.... it says that we aren't allowing multi-week prompts this round, but our last poll opened them up to be suggested in the regular threads.
A debut novel by an established/popular author.Examples:
Carrie by Stephen King
The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie
The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison
What the heck, here's my wacky cover suggestion: A book with a cover where the title is on an angle (other than straight left-to-right).

A book with a cover that reminds you of a specific season (i.e. winter, spring, summer, or fall)
A book with an ensemble cast An Ensemble Cast would be a book with three or more main characters who are all equally important in the story. No one character has more time dedicated to them than the others. (thank you Avery for the great definition)
This might include a family where all the siblings are equal part of the story, a book with a group going on some type of adventure/quest, a gang of people pulling off a crime together, multiple people who may or may not know each other all equally impacted by an event, etc.
Here are some lists:
Goodreads Popular Ensemble Cast Books
"good" ensemble books (Literary and Classic Fiction)
Female Ensemble Books
YA Female Ensemble Casts
LGBT Ensemble Casts
Multiple Perspective books work here but the book does not HAVE to have multiple perspectives to fit the prompt.
Books With Multiple Perspectives

Examples:
[bookcover:..."I'll second this one!
A book whose title contains an honorific (Mr., Mrs., Doctor, Lord, Lady, etc.)Here's a Wiki article with lists of honorifics -- there are quite a few options to choose from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honorific
Sesia - could you clarify if your prompt means the physical disability needs to be represented on the cover, or just that a character has a physical disability? I’m not familiar enough with Wonder to be sure.

Please note: The list as it's currently shaping up has no cover prompts or genre prompts, and only one character prompt. You may want to think about submitting prompts that fit those categories.

A little reminder of how things are done around here:
How it works:
- The topics for the 2020 reading challenge list will be determined by a series of mini-polls, the number of which depends on the number of prompts winning in each mini-polls
- Suggestions for each poll will be opened until 15-20 suggestions are received and “seconded” (this number can change, which will be announced in each suggestion topic)
- We'll wait for one day between the end of the suggestions and the start of the poll to allow for research and discussions
- The poll will be opened for voting for one week
- Each user has 8 votes to spread between their favorite (top) and least favorite (bottom) prompts
- The prompts with the more "positive" votes (top - bottom) will be added to the final list (between 2 and 5 depending on how the votes are spread)
Rules:
- Each member can only suggest OR second one prompt
- Suggestions close after 20 total seconded prompts
- If the categories are not balanced enough at some point, the mods will add rules to encourage variety
- Multi-week prompts may be suggested
- For now, we won't limit polls to new suggestion only, but that can be considered in the future
- For now, members who have suggested or seconded a prompt don't need to wait for 24 hours before doing so again in the next poll. That may change in the future if members express a need for this rule to be reinstated
