QOTD: What five things could you not live without?

message 3059: by Vivian (new)

Vivian Stevenson (passionatelyperusing) | 2032 comments LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What five things could you not live without?"

The existence of dogs, phone (yikes), blankets, food, and water lol. I can't think of two others other than the obvious.

message 3060: by Debra Diggs (new)

Debra Diggs | 2445 comments All I can think of is the obvious: food, water, air.....a beating heart.

Of course, I would go crazy without the internet. But, I would adjust.

QOTD: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

message 3063: by Debra Diggs (new)

Debra Diggs | 2445 comments LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?"

It varies. At the moment it is chocolate chip.

message 3064: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 372 comments Ice cream makes me sick so I don’t eat it.

message 3065: by Vivian (new)

Vivian Stevenson (passionatelyperusing) | 2032 comments LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?"

Mint chocolate chip or a chocolate brownie ice cream. I'm not super picky as long it doesn't have fruit in it.

I haven't taken any actual vacations. I usually stay home for a week or go somewhere for a day. I didn't even go on any as a kid, I don't think.

message 3084: by Debra Diggs (new)

Debra Diggs | 2445 comments LCPL wrote: "QOTD: How many books did you read in June? What was your favorite and least favorite?"

I read 18 books in June.

My favorite was I, Tina by Tina Turner (R.I.P.) A reread that I enjoyed just as much the second time around.

My least favorite was Survive the Night by Riley Sager. I have read 4 other books by this author that I thoroughly enjoyed. But this book was a dud.

message 3085: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (estewart399_lcpl) | 601 comments LCPL wrote: "QOTD: How many books did you read in June? What was your favorite and least favorite?"

I finished two, in order of favorite-

Capturing the Devil

Master and Apprentice

I loved both of them, so it's a loose ranking. I'd be proud to have either of them in my collection.

QOTD: If you could bring one extinct species back to life, which one would you choose and why?

silas☆ (lyc4nthropes) | 711 comments LCPL wrote: "QOTD: If you could bring one extinct species back to life, which one would you choose and why?"

the great auk because i love flightless birds. it's always sad when they go extinct or get classified as endangered (which happens a lot)

message 3098: by Vivian (new)

Vivian Stevenson (passionatelyperusing) | 2032 comments A mammoth. Have you seen Ice Age lol? They're so cool.

message 3099: by Krystyna (new)

Krystyna (adoseofcozy) | 889 comments I was going to say a wooly mammoth because I think they're so cute. But to add another extinct species to the list for some variety, I'd also love to bring back Steller's Sea Cow. They look like a manatee and I think they're adorable.
