As always, I'm going to try and complete the POPSUGAR Reading Challenge.

Other than that, I think I want to focus on my NetGalley books. I'm so behind that it's overwhelming.

Yes! I always get carried away with reading challenges. But I love them, so it is all good. I have decided to do the Popsugar challenge again. (It has been several years since I last did it.) Also, I have have signed up for 3 yearly challenges in a Goodreads book challenge book club. Then I always sprinkle in quarterly, monthly and whatever time frame challenges in throughout the year.

QOTD: What are five things you have enjoyed the most about this year?

message 2607: by Vivian (new)

Vivian Stevenson (passionatelyperusing) | 2032 comments Oof, tough question.

1. I was able to move into an affordable apartment.
2. I have a love for reading again, after being in a slump for over a year.
3. They put in a Michaels where I live.
4. I was gifted a Kitchenaid mixer for all my baking needs.
5. My friends and family have been so supportive, and I don't just mean this year, but I had to include them here.

I suddenly cannot remember a single thing that happened this year. lol

message 2609: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 372 comments To borrow from Queen Elizabeth, it’s been an annus horribilis and I’m hard pressed to recall 5 things. Finally getting to see Pearl Jam in concert twice after waiting 2.5 years was definitely a high point though.

QOTD: What was a new discovery you made this year? What did you discover that you loved? (Your answer could be anything like a new recipe, a podcast, a new hobby, etc.)

message 2615: by Vivian (new)

Vivian Stevenson (passionatelyperusing) | 2032 comments It happened toward the end of this year, but I discovered a new love for movies/tv shows. I especially enjoy watching them with friends, and then reading funny reviews afterward.

My favorite purchase of the year was a book puzzle from BAM. I glued and framed it, and I just adore it! There's really no reason other than that.

I bought some really good books off of amazon this year, and at the library book sale! It added a huge portion onto my bookshelves.

I think I'm most excited about journaling. I've journaled before and ended up stopping midway through the year, but I have a different outlook on it this year. Hopefully I stick with it.
