This is a bit difficult to answer. But I know the one that I have thought about it after finishing the book, I enjoyed reading, and that I recommend to everyone that is wanting a spooky book is Kill Creek by Scott Thomas. I think that this is so underrated and more people should give it a try. It's so good.

Dracula by Bram Stoker. This one really scared me. While reading it, I saw Dracula in every shadow and around every corner. I am overdue for a reread. I wonder if it will have the same effect on me.

I can't think of a single book with witches. I guess I'll go with Harry Potter as well since I read the first book in the series.

Does The House in the Cerulean Sea count as a book with magic?

I could say that or Harry Potter.

This is one of the rare cases where the movie is better than the book. I saw the movie first, loved it, but and was a tad bit disappointed in the book.

Ah, I see. I try to read the books before I watch the movie or tv show adaptation. But I'm not always able to do that or sometimes I have no desire to read the book but want to watch the movie or show.
