"But we forgot just how much harm a few crazies could do, in America and in the world."
- David Brin, The Postman
"Not all those who wander are lost."
- J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

This is so hard to choose and I want to default to Harry Potter. But, I'm not going to because it's kind of a given. I'm going with the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire.

..
The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset by Suzanne Collins
And
The Lonesome Dove Chronicles by Larry McMurtry
Also
Pines (the whole series) by Blake Crouch
Oh my, if I think about it anymore, I am going to come up with more. No way to pick just one.
Krystyna wrote: "Krystyna wrote: "1. What is your favorite book and/or book series of all time?"My favorite book...that's a difficult question to answer for me. I would have to say it would be the book that got me started reading. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
Krystyna wrote: "2. What is the longest book you have ever read? How many pages?"The stand by Stephen King, 1153 pages.
Krystyna wrote: "3. What is the oldest book you have ever read? (Based on its written date)"I know I have read others that were written in the 1800's, but what comes to mind would be Little Women.
Krystyna wrote: "4. What is a book series that everyone else loves but you do not?"I have never read the Twilight series. It gained popularity close to Harry Potter series, but just never read any of them.
Krystyna wrote: "5. What book or series would you like to see turned into a film/TV series?"Oh. There are quite a few I would love to see on the screen. This one is really hard. One I would like would be the Codex Alera by Jim Butcher. It is a wonderful fantasy series where there are magical elements and of course the underdog fighting to save the world. The battle scenes that are described and seeing the way they would portray furies would be awesome.
Krystyna wrote: "6. What is your favorite stand-alone book?"I have so many! From a Buick 8 by Stephen King. I go back to reading this one often.
Krystyna wrote: "8. What is a book that you feel guilty for not reading?"Anything by Jane Austen. I just missed my chance apparently and can not seem to go back and read them.
Krystyna wrote: "9. What is a book that you own more than one copy of?"I have owned more than one copy of Little Women. If I lose a copy, or forget where it is, I try to get another.
Krystyna wrote: "13. What book made you laugh?"Any in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. In many of them, I laughed out loud while reading!
Krystyna wrote: "10. What horror book made you really scared?"The Association by Bentley Little. I know that there is also a supernatural aspect to it, but it was creepy.
Krystyna wrote: "14. Have you ever read a book series because you were pressured?"No, I am pretty open to trying to read almost anything.
Krystyna wrote: " 11. What book(s) gives you happy memories?"I am not sure if any give me happy memories. Some lift my spirits, some make me think deeply. I guess I would have to answer Little Women for this.
Krystyna wrote: "16. Who is your favorite author of all time?"Stephen King. I love his books and his narrative style. I have read and reread his titles many times!
138. What is the longest series you own? If you don't own books, what is the longest series you have read?
Krystyna wrote: "18. What is your favorite children’s/middle-grade book?"Sideways Stories from Wayside School. I enjoyed reading it with my son!
I am currently collecting the Series of Unfortunate Events books. I don't own the whole series yet. I own all of Harry Potter books.
Krystyna wrote: "138. What is the longest series you own? If you don't own books, what is the longest series you have read?"The Pendergast Series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. Starting with Relic and ending with (book 19) Crooked River
Krystyna wrote: "136. What is your favorite series?"I’m really enjoying Secondhand Spirits (A Witchcraft Mystery) by Juliet Blackwell.
Krystyna wrote: "137. What is your least favorite series?"Grave Secret is the last book in the Harper Connelly series by Charlaine Harris which I have not read yet because it took a weird kind of ick turn.
I would not call myself a classic reader at all. I participated in a classic challenge once and did terrible. I disliked most of the books and eventually quit doing the challenge. However, there are a few classics that I like. My favorite classic is Dracula by Bram Stoker.
Krystyna wrote: "138. What is the longest series you own? If you don't own books, what is the longest series you have read?"The longest book series would be the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Patiently awaiting the book Peace Talks that is supposed to be out this year!
Krystyna wrote: "139. Do you read classics? If so, what is your favorite classic?"I enjoyed Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
Currently: Big Lies in a Small Town by Diane ChamberlainAny other time: Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
Krystyna wrote: "140. Are there any other readers in your family?"Growing up, I read a lot and almost everything I could get my hands on. My mammaw read a little, and my mother read mostly romances. My mother-in-law reads a lot also. It is enjoyable to be able to discuss books with someone.
Krystyna wrote: "141. What book do you push everyone to read?"I try not to. I believe that everyone needs to enjoy what they read, and my preferences might not be someone else's. I would be afraid to take the fun out of reading. But I do believe that everyone should read!
Krystyna wrote: "142. Do you consider yourself a slow or fast reader?"I am a fast reader. It is almost like devouring a book! Although, I usually read my favorites more than once. On other read-throughs, I sometimes come upon different perspectives that I did not think about the first time.
I'm 100% a slow reader. Reading comprehension isn't my strong suit, so I typically try to pair it with an audiobook.
Most of my friends are readers! It's really enjoyable to do a buddy read and discuss the book with friends as well!
