I found interview with the vampire really hard to get into, it took me a couple of days to read the first 30 pages. I'm glad i stuck with it cos i ended up really liking the book.

Ooooh Josie: Cry Wolf and Hunting Ground! I really loved Charles and Anna. They're so incredibly sweet together! Have you read their short story in the anthology On the Prowl? It's an unoffical prequel to Cry Wolf.

I just finished it (the prequel, that is). I had started Cry Wolf, and it seemed like I was missing something. But I got some advice to read On the Prowl first. I liked it. Looking forward to hearing more about Anna & Charles. This is my first Patricia Briggs story too. I'm loving this challange!

Yeah I guess you'll miss out on too much if you haven't read the short story first. I really liked the books. Cry Wolf was great PNR but I wasn't in love with the action part. Hunting Ground was better balanced. And the whole dynamic between Charles and Anna is beautifully written. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

That ending killed me. I do believe my heart stopped. Loved this book as I did the first two. Barrons ticked me off, again. What was with the birthday cake thing? Can we say gruuumpy. All-in-all this has been a great series. Highly recommend to anyone. Can't wait for the next book (I'm 5th in line at library). Ooohhh the agony of anticipation.
Amelia, you're doing better. Usually, you fall right out of chairs.

The Eternal Highlander was good. I was surprised too. I'd thought Hannah Howell and Lynday Sands wrote this together. I soon found out it was 2 stories and suddenly the light bulb went off with a resounding "oooooooohhhhhhhhh" Yeah sometimes I'm not the brightest crayon in the box. As I said it was a good book as far as the stories went. It was really difficult to read as quite a bit of it was written in the Scottish accent, which I love but it's just hard to read. Does this count as 2 books?? Don't say it I didn't think so. :)

Same Lucy. Took me forever to get into City of Bones, then I loved the rest of the series.
Make sure you read Succubus Blues next. It's one of my favourite series!

I guess I like suffering alpha males being redeemed by love. Eventhough I hate the 'I'm in love with you and want to spend (literally) forever with you now that I've known you for two days"-thing I still loved this book. Zsadist's story is so intriguing. I love reading from his POV. It grabbed me by the throat from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to finish it. It was nice to see a little brotherly bonding as well.
The last 20 pages almost made me deduct one star cause it was just too damn sappy! Oh. My. God. Still: 5 stars.
I've started Butch's story but I might switch back to In the Blood cause I want to finish this challenge already!

Uglies Review:
I wasn't that into this book, but I am reading the next one, Pretties, to see if maybe it gets better. It is basically a 180 after reading the first three in the Fever series. If Pretties doesn't draw my attention good enough I think I'm going to have to put the rest aside for now and go to the Highlander series. Oh well, this looks like it's going to be the first challenge I've completed. Yay me! (Can you tell I have a daughter who watches Zack and Cody?)

Okay so this is the list I'm going to read...I just got my motherboard replaced so I'm joining kind of late...but no cheating I have already read the entire Sookie Stackhouse Series this month, I then followed with Evermore so that I could get ready to read Blue Moon Then I read Hunger Games to get ready for Catching Fire(which I still don't have :( ) and finally I just read City of Bones and I'm currently reading City of Ashes. So I should be able to complete this challenge by October..I just need to read The Sorcerer's Stone, Marked, Vampire Kisses, Halfway to the Grave, and Vampire Kisses...Now I have already read the remaining books so I did kind of cheat on the selection...but all are favs so I'm sure I'll be ready to reread by the end of the month...I'm excited!!!!
