Hope you feel like reading at least one of these!
Arshiya We didn't have much in common on our shelves, so I hope you like your picks.
1. Africa: Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews is my favorite book of the year so far. I love the idea of innkeepers and it has both a cute dog and a shifter in the story. You could also check out Sealed with a Curse by Cecy Robson which has sisters with paranormal abilities (just slightly twisted due to a curse) and the allies they meet after being accused of a crime.
2. Antarctica: These are both from your TBR. Open Season is a good suspenseful romance or And Then Things Fall Apart sounded interesting as well.
3. Asia: These are both longer books. Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella was a fun chick-lit read and The Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey is a pretty intriguing twist on fairy tales.
4. Australia: We have two very rich heroes here. First up is Artemis Fowl by Eion Colfer who is a very young criminal mastermind. Next is a mystery, but with a bit of romance throughout. Find out that all the talk about Eve and Roarke is true with Naked in Death by J.D. Robb
5. Europe: First is a mixture of fantasy and romance with Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. Then we have a circus traveling through Europe where Fran learns to embrace her differences and falls for the bad boy/vampire in Confessions of a Vampire's Girlfriend by Katie MacAlister. Both books have a lot of humor in them.
6. North America: Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis is a sweet love story (and finding oneself) set in a small town. Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep is the start of a great series where children of different pantheons are sent to school to learn to fight the reapers. I really liked that it had gypsies and Amazons and Valkyries and Spartans, etc.
7. South America: Both of these have parties in them. Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder is a great fantasy story. Yelena becomes the king's poison taster to escape a more immediate death. Learning the ins and outs of it is fascinating as well as following all the plots in the kingdom. Or there is a short story, Paper Hearts by Maureen Childs that has a town preparing for a Valentine's Dance.
Ocean: A cute love story with lots of humor - Love Overboard by Janet Evanovich. Or check out In a Fix by Linda Grimes which has Ciel (who can take the shape of anyone) getting more than she bargained for on what she thought would be an easy job to get a marriage proposal for a client.
Shelby wrote: "Fran Here are my picks for you! Shelby, thanks so much for the great picks! I am leaning towards Glen & Tyler's Honeymoon Adventure , Caught, Play With Me, My Shifter Showmance, Getting Dirty.
LOL, as you can see, there are a lot I am interested in.....I really like all the rest too. I'll have to see what I can fit into other challenges :)
