I finished listening to Last to Die by Tess Gerritsen, Rizzoli & Isles #10, and it was a true puzzler. Here’s my review.

Just a lot of "posturing" and brooding and descriptions of how gorgeous he is, imo. First 125 pages or so, I was bored to death as they just kept "glaring" at each other. I know my reading tastes have changed over the past 5 years, but I still love a badboy as much as anybody...but the story needs to draw me in. This one just never did. Many others loved it...it just didn't do it for me.

read 30 - 60 great book then you end up reading a very very bad one? I have read the first two book and did not like them but want to finish the series.

Just my personal preference but I've been liking Mia Madison work because she does create some bad boy characters herself but she writes them in a way that makes you care for both them and their love interests. Especially with her series The Adamos. She's actually a big influence in a story that I'm planning to write in the future.
