I have as well, but doing a serial read challenge - so re-reading to catch up & finish series! I will be listening (Audiobook) til I get to book 15 or 16 (where I left off with them), it should help with the Goodreads 2019 Challenge, as well - overall #'s!😉

Twist of Faith (Ava Saunders #1) by Ellen J. Green

The Killer Collective (John Rain, #10) by Barry Eisler

Livia Lone (Livia Lone, #1) by Barry Eisler

Also took a listen to Age of Myth (The Legends of the First Empire, #1) by Michael J. Sullivan

and plan to read The Loner (The Loner, #1) by J.A. Johnstone next month. I got more books in my backlog this year.

Also found out that A Case of Need by Jeffery Hudson is available on Kindle Unlimited so that will give me an excuse to look into his work.

Just a lot of "posturing" and brooding and descriptions of how gorgeous he is, imo. First 125 pages or so, I was bored to death as they just kept "glaring" at each other. I know my reading tastes have changed over the past 5 years, but I still love a badboy as much as anybody...but the story needs to draw me in. This one just never did. Many others loved it...it just didn't do it for me.

Just my personal preference but I've been liking Mia Madison work because she does create some bad boy characters herself but she writes them in a way that makes you care for both them and their love interests. Especially with her series The Adamos. She's actually a big influence in a story that I'm planning to write in the future.
