Now I get what all the fuss was about! Just read Gillian Flynn's bestselling Gone Girl. Twisty story with twisted people. Not perfect, but very entertaining.

For a complete change of pace, I read Mahatma Gandhi by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara and Albert Arrayás, which is an attractive introduction to the non-violent protester for justice. It's for the very young, but it will help their teachers and parents learn about him, too.

Well, from the GoodReads ratings for A Lifetime of Impossible Days, it's clear that many readers have fallen in love with the Willas, and I'm one of them. This debut proves that Aussie author, Tabitha Bird is a talented author and it will be interesting to see what she does next.
