My review for
The Spotted Dog by Kerry Greenwood 4★. Although I prefer her Phryne Fisher series, this series has wonderful characters and always provides for a reliable light and lively read.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman was another 4-star heart breaker. NOT COOL.

Just finished comics/graphic novels (sorry not entirely sure of the distinction between) from Robert Kirkman

and
While flicking through my library's online Libby catalogue, I came across these, and having watched the TV show thought well, why not?
Very quick reads for me (graphic novels, comics are a bit lost on me, I barely pay attention to the drawings and just follow the dialogue I am afraid), but I enjoyed the first one enough to go on to the following volumes - even if it is mainly to see the differences /similarities with the TV series.
Overall, I will give ★★★☆ a fun hour or two.
I enjoyed my second Gail Jones book more than the first; 4★ for A Guide to Berlin

While I tend to read mostly fiction, now and then a non-fiction book catches my eye. I quite enjoyed Mary Norris's debut, Between You & Me: Confessions of a Comma Queen, as I did this one, Greek to Me: Adventures of the Comma Queen.4★s

A fictional, yet insightful look into the world of reality television, here's my review of The One by Kaneana May

4 stars for
The Lost Girls by Aussie Author Jennifer Spence. Enjoyed this different book, probably best genre for it would be sci fi.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
A handsome, young, American hit-man leaps from the frying pan of the Mob in Philly into the fire of a murder investigation in coastal Australia in Aussie author Dave Warner's River of Salt.

I have read one book in Tony Cavanaugh's Darien Richards series (and I have the others in my enormous TBR), so I was pleased to get his new novel, Blood River through NetGalley. It's excellent Aussie crime fiction that will keep the reader guessing to the end (although the killer was on my suspect list from the start).4★s

A Plague of Angels by P.F. Chisholm (aka Patricia Finney) is another entertaining adventure with Sir Robert Carey through 16th century London. Plague, jealousy, swordfights - what's not to love?

The Soldier's Curse shows 1825 Australia and the British penal colony in Port Macquarie, NSW, warts and all. It's the first of a series that Meg Keneally and her father, Tom Keneally, have planned to bring history to life. I've got to say, I'm sure glad I didn't live then!
