Looks good to me! And yes, tag and shelf are interchangeable.
Is there a minimum number of tags needed? I wanted to read Mr. Winterbourne's Christmas, which I know it works because it's clear in book 1, but it's only tagged once as rich-millionaire-boyfriends.

Another fail for Chan
I’m beginning to feel a bit frustrated with myself. This is another highly rated book that I did not enjoy. It was so clichéd and over the top. The characters personalities were very inconsistent.
I enjoyed the beginning. It had a promising start. The chance encounter was nice. The roommate situation felt familiar and I liked it, but around Chapter 3 or so I was ready to
Among inconsistent personalities, the MCs turned into prepubescent adolescents.
Gideon and Eva’s story is not for me. I will not continue the series.

One of the roses we can earn is for reading 8 books, so we'll need at least a couple of multiples, more if anyone doesn't read their book for the week. Hopefully that won't happen since one of the roses is for all of us finishing our book! 😉

I've actually started 2 more that fit (1 audio, 1 ebook) that I found on my M&G shelf...The Christmas Proposition and Loyalty in Death.
I've just finished another one that will fit. I'll post it later tonight or tomorrow. I'm still shocked at how quick The Procrastinators completed 4 books. Maybe I should read books around 100 pages. The issue is I don't typically enjoy short books. Hmm...we'll see.

Yeah, they were quick, but it didn't really shock me considering how fast the last round in the PtP goes sometimes. And don't worry about reading short books that you won't enjoy just for this - I have some short ones on my M&G list and I'm trying to work those in for the first book of the week, but if I can't find one that works I'm not going to have a heart attack over it. I guess my philosophy is that winning is nice and I'll do what I reasonably can to help my team win, but I'd rather enjoy a challenge than win it and if I'm reading a whole bunch of books that I'm not enjoying, what's the point?

I read book 1 almost exactly a year ago. Those who read my review, know that I struggled through it. I gave myself a break so that I could read book 2 with a clear head. Sadly, I’m still not getting it.
This series is rated so highly and many of my GR friends love it. 4.2 average rating. I want to fit in with the cool kids and love it too.

Okay. Maybe hate is a strong word, but this was worse than book 1. Rush didn’t know what he wanted from Blaire. He wanted to be with her, but he wanted to keep her a secret, but he wanted people to know that she was his. They make Seroquel for this type of behavior.
I wanted to push Blaire down a well. Her whining and pushover tendencies infuriated me.
I don’t think it will be wise for me to continue with this series, but my GR friends claim it will get better as the series goes along. So, we’ll see.

Karen, that makes sense. I should enjoy what I read and the challenge. It's not always about the win. Although the last two books were not that great. However, I can't complain, I recently had a few 4 and 5 star reads.

Hey PbRers. Is anyone planning to read 2 books this week? I know Karen stated she might complete 2 or 3 books this week. I'm asking because we need 3 more completions to earn an additional rose for reading 8 books. I can definitely read one more and possibly squeeze in a 4th, if need be. Let me know...
I'm on my second book...I just haven't had a chance to post my first completion.

I got a notification email that she'd posted last night, but when I clicked the link to go to the post it had been deleted, so not sure what's going on there. I checked her profile and she has been online some, so hopefully everything's ok and she just hasn't made it back here yet. It's only Monday, so I'll give her another day or so then send her a PM if we haven't heard from her.
We've got plenty of backup books...I've got about 2 hours left in my audiobook and less than an hour reading time left in my ebook, so should finish both of them this evening...tomorrow morning at the latest for the ebook. They both qualify, so other than Morgan's selection, we're more than covered.

Ooh. I can't wait to get to this one. I'm only on book 4. I've been listening to the audiobooks. Susan Erickson is amazing.
I recently realized that there are abridged and unabridged versions. I listened to one of the books and I felt like there were chunks missing from the story. It was because I listened to the abridged version. Although the unabridged books are hours longer, I prefer them.

I'm on my 2nd/3rd time through the series (only the 2nd for the most recent several books)...discovered it way back when there were only about 20 or so books out. I don't do a lot of rereading, but for me these books are just as good the 2nd time through...it's great to revisit the early books to be reminded how much the characters have grown and changed as the series has progressed. I agree about Susan Ericksen - she's incredible!
I'm not really a fan of abridged audiobooks in general, so have never even considered them with this series. Some of my favorite parts of these books are the random interactions between the characters that have little or nothing to do with the main plot, and I'm sure those would be a big part of what is cut out in the abridged versions. There are several novellas in the series that run around 3 hours or so in audio (I think the first one is #7.5), and while I enjoy them too, they're just not quite as good as the full-length books since they have to focus more on the murder mystery and less on the relationships.
I've said it before, but I'm still amazed that you hadn't discovered Eve and Roarke before now...I'm so glad you finally did!
Hey all! I am around. Things have just been crazy at work and with the kids. My youngest seems to be doing much better, but it was a scary three weeks. Then, as soon as she was feeling better, my older daughter came down with strep on her birthday, poor thing. To clarify this current task, the book must be TAGGED wealthy/billionaire/millionaire? It can't just be mentioned within the text? I had originally posted a completion a few days ago, because one of the characters is referred to as a wealthy millionaire, but then I saw everyone posting that it was "tagged" that way and mine isn't. Is there any clarification on that?

Hopefully they'll both be feeling back to normal very soon!For the current task, the book needs to be tagged with something indicating wealth - wealthy/millionaire/billionaire/rich etc. OR it needs to be made clear on the precis (book blurb) posted on GR. It can't just be from the text of the book, unfortunately.

There are 181 pages of shelves for that book! 😲 Did you look through all of them for words that would indicate wealth - rich, money, billionaire, etc.? If you did, I'm impressed because that is a pain, but you might find that it works if you take the time. Or you spend that time reading something else - hard call!
