I'm a huge Kristen Ashley fan, and her Chaos series is probably my favorite of all her series. Walk Through Fire is one of my most favorite books (and one of my most re-read books) ever, so I was desperate for this story. It didn't disappoint one bit. It was beautiful, gave me all the feels, and made my heart burst with happiness. I loved it so much!

For me to enjoy a book I need to like it at the very least, it needs to keep my interest and I also need to be able to connect with the characters, and connect I did not.

So I guess I didn't like it much, given that I was bored a lot of the time with nothing much happening, and I'm not a Keely fan. I don't know if it's because the first half of the book is in Hound's POV so by the time she got her POV I had already made up my mind that she was not a character I could have much interest in *shrug

”Life’s a game, Hound. People don’t play it. We’re pawns. It plays us. And every day you don’t know how it’s gonna play you. You could wake up a winner, or you could wake up a loser. But when you’re wild like the wind like we are, you roll with it. Today, I woke up a loser. But I’m gonna end the night a winner.”

It’s time to catch up with all of the beloved characters from the CHAOS MC along with a few from Kristen Ashley’s ”Dream Man” ser

I am not going to rate this one because I knew going in I wasn't going to like it. The only reason I read it is in preparation for Rush's book. The entire first part of this book read like bad cheesy hardcore porn (KA is just NOT good at writing sex scenes). I hated Keely; she was gross and trashy, and WAY too obsessed with her son's sex lives (gag). I hated Hound and his creepy friendship with the 89-year-old lady. I hated that he put his hands on Keely in anger, then somehow while "apologizing ...more

What a beautiful story, I love this world and I love the characters. For one more time Kristen Ashley made me fall in love with her story.Wild Like the Wind is emotional and intense.

I loved Hound and Keely, my heart aching for them.Hound is such a good guy, he stole my heart and make me swoon all the time.I fall for him hard.He is the perfect alpha male.

Although I had a rocky start, I ended up loving this book. And what surprised me was Hound, a character in whom I had no interest, has now joined two other KA heroes to land on my all-time favorite heroes shelf. I fell head-over-heels in love with his character. But...OMG...the over-the-top, over abundance of sex scenes during the first 35% of this book almost had me not finishing it. Sheesh! It was too much! Luckly, the plot showed up (big time) and we were finally given the he

Have you ever loved the tone of a story so much that before you're even halfway through, you already want to go back to the beginning and start again? I felt that way repeatedly throughout Wild Like the Wind. Every bit of this story had me giddy with inexplicable emotion, elated over the promise of what was to come, overwhelmed with unease over how complicated this story was shaping up to be. But more, I was completely intoxicated by the rush of being back in the world of Chaos. Of all the Krist ...more
Mar 07, 2018 marked it as to-read a fan of KA from day one... if she resolves Hound and Keely's story in the first two chapters (see all her books since The Promise) and the rest of the book is about cooking and setting up house together I AM DONE WITH HER!!! Please let this be an actual book and not a lifestyle and cooking book.
Thanks :)

Overall Opinion: The first half of the book?! F-Loved! It could just be me and my weird obsession with unrequited love type stories, but I just don't think that second half was anywhere near as good as the first. It felt like it changed from being about these two finally getting together to focusing too much on other people's stories. I get that Bev and Boz are a part if the mc and have been side characters in the other stories, but I just wasn't all that interested in all that went along

Made me feel like being Wild again…

Before I get started on this review, I need to get something off my chest. My 15-year-old son has just informed me that football is more important than school. [HEAD EXPLODING!!!!] He’s got a cold and had yesterday off and now he’s telling me he should have today off because tonight is his last game for the season and he wants to go. Bloody hell, parenting SUCKS sometimes. I know, as a good mother (or someone posing as one), my response should be…SCHOOL FOR YOU

Hound has loved Keely for years, but she's the widow of one of his Chaos brothers and off limits. Over 18 years he was there for her, until an argument between them made him run away and Keely pursues him. Embarking on a physical relationship, there are a lot of issues that are between them...

5 all for my Hound stars!

Kristen Ashley what I have you done to me with this his book! Seriously!

One of the things I love about KA chaos series is the brotherhood. The love and bond this men have for each other and their women. But this one tested me like no other it tested MY love and bond for them!

This one made me nervous because it’s Keely’s story and we know she was married to Black who was murder. We also know that Hound has been in love with Keely for years.

Like I said it made nervous b

After reading "Rough Ride" and being a bit disappointed, I really needed this one to be good. Lately KA's books have not been doing it for me and that's depressing, because most of her earlier work is on my " deserves 6 stars" list.

Afbeeldingsresultaat voor that makes me sad gif

Now, even though this book didn't blow me also didn't annoy me like "Rough Ride" did. It also wasn't all about clothes and (home) make-overs, like the last couple of books were... It was actually an oke read for me.

In a word this romance was phenomenal. Once again Kristen Ashley touched the heart of me with her masterful writing style and dynamic characters. This series is undoubtedly my absolute favorite as these gritty Chaos brothers and their women own a piece of me. This novel was no exception. Overwhelmed by all the feels, Wild Like the Wind was beyond amazing, and I walked away from this read tingling with excitement. Intense, wildly emotional and savagely passionate, Hound and Keely

“…no matter how much it took, how deep it dug, how empty it left him, he’d give her what she needed even if it left nothing of him, and after she was gone, he drifted to ash and blew away with the wind.”

A tour de force novel that has everything Kristen Ashley’s fans have come to expect from this remarkable storyteller, this latest instalment in the Chaos series is everything I hoped it would be, and so much more. A tale of unrequited love, of an enduring love, a steadfast love, a sel

I remember reading Joker's story in Ride Steady and feeling this bubbling up of emotion.  There was this pain that Kristen Ashley captured that just did something to me as a reader. It gave me an emotional tie to that book, and Wild Like The Wind evokes those same emotions.

This story is absolutely everything I have ever loved about Kristen Ashley. The pace is spot on. I was never wanting things to move quicker - because let's face it when reading a KA  book, you know you are going to be in it fo

3 Conflicted Stars!!

I’m so conflicted about Hound and Keely. Don’t get me wrong, it’s KA so naturally enjoyed it. Absolutely. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love KA, that said lately her books are hit or miss with me. But, I have to say, even her misses are better than most books I’ve tried to read lately, I’ve been in a MAJOR book funk for quite awhile. So when one of my go to one-click authors has a new release I consume it, with the hopes the storyline and characters will consume

Damn this was a horrible, horrible addition to this series.

-Keely is the worst character ever in the KA's universe - i seriously cant describe how her dirty mouth irked me. Zilch personality.
-Hound is pretty much a doormat.
- So much trashy sex - the book is filled with it - plus of-course the occasional abuse against women that we are all supposed to ignore.

** Sigh i just cant.

This is going to be a tough one to review. There were parts I absolutely loved, and I didn't want to put the book down, and parts that kind of dragged...and you'll be surpised at the parts that dragged. Well maybe.

So, Chaos MC book #6 is Hound's book. Hound is the muscle of the club. He does the dirty work, the tough stuff that needs to be done. At the beginning of the book, Hound (aka Shepherd Ironside!) is a young man (22-ish), and the story starts with a little background history on how Tack

First thoughts after finishing: HERE COMES THE BOOK HANGOVER FROM HELL! <<--- Because, oh my gosh! I will NEVER get enough of this series, this cast of characters, or this world that Kristen Ashley has so meticulously created. This is like 70% sex and 30% story. Now I’ve read a grundle (*cough* more than 40 *cough*) of KA books and so I know a few things going into them.
1 -- There will be sex. It will be steamy and usually there is at least one scene in a shower. Seriously how does no one end up with a concussion going to town in the shower
2 -- There will be a verbal smackdown with family or friends who are being jerks and deserve the smackdown. Usually my favorite moment in the book
3 -- The guy will make a colossal
Liked it but didn't love it.

After Rough Ride, I was actually more interested in the plot revolving the bad guys then I was the romance between Hound and Keely. I was only partially satisfied as some new villains were introduced which seems odd, and I still don't know why Snapper was walking in the rain.

WLTW is really the story of how Hound and Keely have sex, more sex, and even more sex while they hide their relationship from Chaos. Maybe it's just me, but despite all the sex I didn't have a gre

In case you aren’t familiar with this series, here is a gifified Cliffs’ Notes to catch you up. Each of them starts with a male and female lead who are not meant to be together. It may be for a hate-to-love trope, or an ill-fated romance or (in this case) because a relationship between the two is strictly verboten, but whatever the case they can’t be together. Which then pretty much immediately morphs into the first 40-50% of the books
