Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) It's on the master spreadsheet. If you look at the bottom, it's broken into tabs and you can find your group there.

Thank you. Is that the spreadsheet we have?

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) No, there's a master spreadsheet linked in the read first thread.

Alison (a1ison74) | 2826 comments For the spin off book (inspired by someone else's characters task) does it need to be a spin off from a book or could it be a TV show or movie? I've just started Slayer and am wondering if I could use it as a spin off from Buffy?

Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "for task 69 travel to another country for first time for a sci fi book traveling to another planet for first time OK?"

Hmmm
Not unless it is a book where they consider the other planets countries. If it is just seen as another planet I would say no

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12853 comments For the feb bonus task, Does a country that lies partially in both hemispheres count, such as Colombia?
I've been really looking forward to reading Love in the Time of Cholera and don't want to put it off yet another month, lol.

I’m going to say no as it is a 100 point task so the spelling should be the same

Alysa H. | 3840 comments For Feb task #142, Read a book with gold writing on the cover:

Can I use The Bronze Key? TinEye is inconclusive but that sure looks like gold to me.

ETA: I guess I could use it for #137, Read a book with a blue cover instead... TinEye puts the blue at about 75%.

I'd suggest that it is bronze writing - it's not yellow enough to my eyes, plus the title... ;-P

Considering the title it may be bronze?
It’s really hard to say without the physical copy

message 426: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4247 comments May I make a suggestion for task 60 that it be "yurt" or "ger." Ger is the Mongolian word of which yurt is the Russian/Turkic form. Just an idea.

No worries, I'll just use it for the "blue cover" instead.

Nicole P | 1834 comments Hey Karen,

For January task #17: Read a book where the authors name contains the letters N, B, R and C - I'm currently reading The President Is Missing by Bill Clinton & James Patterson. Can I use both authors to get all the letters?

message 430: by Maritza (new)

Maritza (spanishwhispers) | 2241 comments Where is the love for February. Those tasks seem pretty hard to me. Was thinking how i'll be able to cover my minimum tasks :(((((

message 431: by Cat (new)

Cat (cat_uk) | 10094 comments Mod
well, the two BOMs cover two of the 100pts
The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory - title in different colours
& volunteer for DQs for To All the Boys...
chamomile (is the UK variant spelling without the h OK, Karen?) should be easy enough for 3.

beheading: a French revolution book? vampire?
set in Mongolia -there's a rash of books about Ghengis Khan that'd fit the bill
and Karen's shared a link to the pet names sheet already, which is super helpful :)

I haven read it, but they are meant to be inspired by other characters. So Not necessarily mythology, but characters from books/tv/Movies

Jane, that was one of my all time favorite books last year, and even though it is a retelling, you should read it.

I think that a house would include a garden.
But I can see an argument either way. Seeing it isn't a 100-pointer I'm happy to be more lenient and say it is ok
