Greg (lupercross) | 2250 comments In Enemy Hands book 7 of the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. I started this series a long time ago and hadn't read any of it for several years. In fact, In Enemy Hands is one of my books for this years TBR Jar challenge. Still, the series is good and this book was excellent.

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just started a new series - Chaos Walking - The New World by Patrick Ness. Nice little novella that tells the backstory of how Viola came to land on New World. I appreciated the author filling in her relationship with her parents. It made her reaction at the start of the book more understandable. I'm not usually one to read the little stories between books in a series, but this one is worth it. 4 stars

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed first book in Chaos Walking series - The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness. I feel emotionally wrung out from reading this book. Everything from the way the prose was written, to the descriptions, to the characters, to the way that bits and pieces of the backstory were revealed was artfully and masterfully done. And even though I burst into tears at the thing I never wanted to happen but knew would happen and my heart broke, this is still one of the best books I've read in a long time. Going right into the second book now. Definitely worth reading! 5 stars
