- This was the third book in the series that was three stars for me. It was entertaining but some aspects weren't so great, therefore I'm not reading further for now, even if I liked the Fae story world. I'll read the new book by the author, Shadow of The Fox, eventually to see if it's better.

In Enemy Hands book 7 of the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. I started this series a long time ago and hadn't read any of it for several years. In fact, In Enemy Hands is one of my books for this years TBR Jar challenge. Still, the series is good and this book was excellent.7/68

Just started a new series - Chaos Walking - The New World by Patrick Ness. Nice little novella that tells the backstory of how Viola came to land on New World. I appreciated the author filling in her relationship with her parents. It made her reaction at the start of the book more understandable. I'm not usually one to read the little stories between books in a series, but this one is worth it. 4 stars2/20
Just completed first book in Chaos Walking series - The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness. I feel emotionally wrung out from reading this book. Everything from the way the prose was written, to the descriptions, to the characters, to the way that bits and pieces of the backstory were revealed was artfully and masterfully done. And even though I burst into tears at the thing I never wanted to happen but knew would happen and my heart broke, this is still one of the best books I've read in a long time. Going right into the second book now. Definitely worth reading! 5 stars3/20

Just completed the 2nd book in the Choas Walking series - The Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness. Really interesting explorations in this second book and great character development! Just a touch slow in the middle, but otherwise a great second book! Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars4/20
Completed another story in Chaos Walking series - The Wide, Wide Sea by Patrick Ness. Really interesting back story of Mistress Coyle. I'm intrigued to see how this story fits into the trilogy. Definitely worth reading! 4 stars5/20
