Rosie 12:09 AM...think nice thoughts, me. I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow, because FRIDAYYYYY and WINTER BREAKKKK!!!! :D

I need to use the bathroom. And sleep. My alarm wakes me at 6, so....ah, goodnight fellas.

message 353: by Rosie (new)

Rosie G'morning, humans. I'm going to gymnastics today, but I'll only be doing conditioning, and probably only arm conditioning, because my hip is messed up. That's probably my fault, but..well, there's nothing to be said. 'tis my fault, and I'm responsible for my actions.
BUT GOD I'M really really really scared because I don't get to do actual gymnastics for about 2 weeks, and competition season starts in January, and I'm not ready. I might have to compete level 4 on floor again and AGHHHHHHHHHH : (

message 354: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Oh, oops, no. It was around 3 PM then, so I meant good afternoon.

Rosie Hi! So, to those of you who read this, I'm very sorry I haven't been on Goodreads. I just wanted a break from going through everything in my inbox, and I procrastinated going through all my old mail. It took me a while to look at everything.
I'm sorry I didn't respond to your messages till now, Emily! I sent you one, though, so I hope you read it. :)

My timezone is: (according to google) Pacific Standard Time

message 356: by Rosie (new)

Rosie ayyy, yayyyyyy. I have homework I need to complete before winter break is over. Also, yesterday, I hung out with my friend, and we wrote a silly play for the whole Harry Potter series. We divided the most important characters among ourselves so we both had the same amount of characters to play. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to get through all of the books, and we only made it through 1 to 5. My friend wrote most of the songs/lines, so don't give too much credit to me. (Also, the lyrics may sound silly, but they sound AWESOME when sung out loud. I'm serious. :D)
Here's one of the songs: (Also, one thing: We renamed all of the characters with silly names. She also did most of that, so give her credit, not me.)
Drago Malkspeel: I was bounced on the floor, the floor fa floor floor, I was bounced on the floor, the floor fa floor floor....He turned me. into. A feeeeeret. He turned me. Into. A feeeeeret. Pottybottom, Pottybottom, Pottybottom! I hate 'im I hate ;im, I hate, hate, haaaate him! Depressed, Depressed, amager Depressed!
So. Let me explain: Drago is Draco Malfoy. This was book four, Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. I'm aware that it was Mad Eye Moody (well, Barty Crouch...jr, actually) that bounced him on the floor, not Harry, and my friend is aware of that too. It just sort of seems like we thought Harry did it, but it's only the formatting. And Pottybottom is Neville Pottybottom, who is Harry Potter. Yup, we renamed him. Amager Depressed is Alastor Moody. :D
also, I doubt this will happen, but anyone reading this: No copyright or whatever. This is our song, and I shall be irritated if someone steals this masterpiece.............

Rosie One thing: I think I'll post more regularly again! Yay, I'm back. Also, thanks for 24 views! I'm famous. Whoop whoop \(^0^)/

message 358: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Well...it's been 5 days. Sorry 'bout that. For some reason, Goodreads is being weird and won't let me post comments. I'm praying this comment is actually posted.

message 359: by Rosie (new)

Rosie YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs. I think the problem may have been my computer or something, but it seems to have worked. Perhaps it was internet connection? Dunno, but I'm glad I can post comments again!!! Okay, time to update y'all.

message 360: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Okay. So, since 1/8/19, I've been doing this workout regimen: (Because I want to be strong and all muscular, ya know?)
MORNING:
-10 min ab workout
-10 minute arm workout
EVENING:
-10 minute legs workout
-10 minute arms workout
-10 minute ab workout

And it's been really awesome. My legs are especially sore, since I'm not used to doing as much home leg workouts. Usually I only do arms and abs. Also, tomorrow, I'm going biking with my dad. He said that he might not be up for it, because he doesn't feel too good right now, but at the very least, I'm hoping we can go biking around the neighborhood. I'm horrible at figuring out which gears to use, but I'm going to research that right now.

message 361: by [deleted user] (new)

Look at you with the workouts, I see you.

message 362: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Hi! Do you also exercise a lot? :D

message 363: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi and I am doing situps, pushups every night because of physical fitness training (a club) and track

message 364: by [deleted user] (new)

For pft, workouts consists of basically what you do everyday but It varies

message 365: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Awesome. I sort of want to do track, but I don't like running long distance, so I doubt I ever will. I also already do a lot of sports, so I wouldn't have time.

message 366: by Rosie (new)

Rosie On Wednesday at gymnastics, the team had pushup testing. Basically, we had to do as many pushups as we could in a minute, but they had to be deep enough. Our coach stacked one fist on top of the other, and our stomach had to touch his fist or else the pushup wouldn't count. I managed to do 41. (11 more than last time I tested, so I'm definitely improving.)

message 367: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh what sports do you participate in?

message 368: by Rosie (new)

Rosie On Mondays, I have karate. On Wednesdays, I have gymnastics. On Thursdays, I have karate, and on Fridays, I have gymnastics. (I usually stay a couple extra hours on Fridays, since there's open gym until 10 pm.)

message 369: by [deleted user] (new)

Well jeez (showoff) that's pretty awesome. I have pft mon, Wednesday,Friday and I'm still trying to balance track

message 370: by Rosie (new)

Rosie XD Yup, I love exercising. I'm going to start doing private mantis/saber/kung fu lessons with a friend of my dad's soon, though. She was supposed to send a video of herself doing a form, but she hasn't yet. I hope she does soon, since I want to start training with her. I haven't even met her yet, but my dad says she's nice, and she's a black belt in several martial arts, I think. (Or one. I'm not sure, but I know she's studied a lot.) Unfortunately, my hip is still messed up, so there are certain exercises I can't do without discomfort.

message 371: by [deleted user] (new)

What happened to your hip? And now I feel like I got to do more XD, that's awesome that your so active. You really don't hear that with this generation so it's refreshing

message 372: by Rosie (new)

Rosie That's a good question. I have absolutely no idea what happened to my hip. I probably messed it up doing kicks or doing back handsprings. Something like that. I went to a physical therapist, and she told me that my sacrum was crooked. She supposedly fixed it, but I had a team sleepover at my gymnastics gym the next meet, and if it was fixed, I messed it up again. A couple weeks ago, I went to a rolfing appointment, and that was supposed to fix my hip, but it's still messed up. It doesn't hurt unless I run A LOT, but it pops when I do certain things.

Thanks! I want to be more active, though. I'm certainly more active than some people I know, but then there's tons of people on the internet who do intense workouts every day. I'm jealous, but I have no time. (School, homework, trying to actually sleep a healthy amount of time...)

message 373: by [deleted user] (new)

What the world is a sacrum? XD But in all seriousness, that sucks and having it fixed then injured then fixed, sheesh. Anyways, and my god you want to be more active?!?! How do you get jealous when you do so much?!! And that's good you trying to get sleep!

message 374: by Rosie (new)

Rosie A sacrum, according to wikipedia, is: "Anatomical terms of bone. In humans, the sacrum is a large, triangular bone. It is at the bottom of the spine and the upper and back part of the pelvis." So, a hip area thing.
Well, there are sports I want to do that I don't do, and there are things that I need more strength to be able to do. I don't know. But, when I'm way older, I'd like to be that one very fit, athletic grandma. I'll be...well, I was about to say hiking, since it's fitness-y but not as intense as actual sports, but the problem is that I don't really like hiking. Oh well. I'm still planning to be a fit grandma.
As for sleep, I'm actually quite proud of myself! I've managed to go to bed around 10 the past few days. It's already 10:52 PM where I live, but since it's the weekend, I'm staying up later. Hopefully not until 2 AM, though. That happened many times during winter break. (Once, at my grandparents' house, I went to sleep around 2 AM and awoke at 2 PM. 'Twas very disorienting, and I don't recommend it. Whatsoever.)

message 375: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Also, what sort of things do you do at your physical fitness training? Is it all conditioning, or do you do other things? And how long is practice? There isn't anything like that at my school.

message 376: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I am currently doodling people in my sketchbook and staring at the horrible proportions in shame. INSPIRATION, where did thou goeth? (Is goeth a thing? A word? I have no idea, but it sounds sort of Shakespeare-y. It probably isn't a word. Too bad.)

message 377: by Rosie (new)

Rosie aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I keep making it look like my character has a horrible underbite or overbite. D':

message 378: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Brendon Urie is my favorite celebrity right now. His music (or, Panic! At The Disco's music) is aweeeeeesome and super diverse. :D

message 379: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Also, I love his personality.

message 380: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Goodnight, Earthlings.

message 381: by [deleted user] (new)

For pft, 5 things we had to be good at is longjump, shuttle run, push up, sit up, pull ups. We do bleachers, or take laps and o course we do core. We have to get jump above 5'8 but we want 8', 60 pushups, 100 situps, 25-30 pullups ,45 run time in competition. So workouts consists of pushups, situps, squats, crunches, pullups, air squats, box jumps, laps of course, and more. It's from 2-3 or 3:30 on busy days every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

message 382: by [deleted user] (new)

My brothers and my sister loves Panic! She listened to every album. Me , I got hooked with Death of a Bachelor and his version of bohemian Rhapsody but only listened to later album. Music is very diverse yet my sister mainly listens to rock (I can't really say he is just rock) but she loves twenty one pilots, my y chemical romance, imagine dragons, coldplay , all the bands

message 383: by [deleted user] (new)

And GN!!

message 384: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Wow, pft sounds amazing. I'm totally jealous. I have yet to manage to do pullups, but a goal for the year is to be able to do at least 10 in succession. I'll see how I do, but I will only be able to try at gymnastics class, because my house doesn't have a pullup bar. Unfortunately.
I also love the Death of a Bachelor! I like High Hopes, This Is Gospel, Emperor's New Clothes, The Ballad of Mona Lisa, Dying in LA, House of Memories, I Write Sins not Tragedies, and basically all of his songs. I like some Twenty One Pilots songs, and Imagine Dragons is awesome, too.

message 385: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Good morning, folks! (I'm imagining I have a thick country accent and am in some corny animated show.)

I am going to go biking with my dad in around half an hour.

message 386: by [deleted user] (new)

Good morning to you ((country accent as well))

message 387: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "Its almost two in the afternoon, but god morning all the same XD

I have a bike but its too small for me now :("

Thanks! Er, good afternoon, now. It's 1:22 where I live now. I went biking with my dad, and I came back and ate lunch about 15 minutes ago. We biked to an old bookstore that existed when my dad was a kid (the bookstore had used and new books, and I've been there many times before), and I bought: Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. 'Twas used, so 'Twas cheap. (See, using contractions makes sentences much shorter. Speaking of contractions, I used to think that 'Tis was a verb, because I heard "'Tis the season to be jolly, falalalalalalalalalalalallaaaaaaaaaaaa", and I thought it meant, I dunno, encourage the season to be jolly. Or something.)

Sorry about your bike. Maybe, if you really want to start biking, you can ask your parents to buy you a new one or save up money to buy yourself one. If you want.

Rosie Trey wrote: "Good morning to you ((country accent as well))"

Why, thank ye. 'Tis afternoon now, so good afternoon.

message 389: by [deleted user] (new)

'Tis the evening so I suggest ye start rersting for ye bed ((I'm trying so hard ))

message 390: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Trey wrote: "'Tis the evening so I suggest ye start rersting for ye bed ((I'm trying so hard ))"

XD Rersting? Not sure if people actually say that, but...well, why not. 'Tis the evening, but 'tis only 5:50 PM where I live now, so I shan't sleep yet. I reckon I won't go to bed 'til 10, at the earliest. (I don't know how to make everything sound south-like, so just imagine the country accent.)

Rosie Emily wrote: "random cauliflower broccoli banana spinach wrote: "Emily wrote: "Its almost two in the afternoon, but god morning all the same XD

I suppose so. I have no idea why. Wait no- I said "good morning, folks", and........yeah. Biking is fun, though. I have to say that my favorite part is going downhill, and I have yet to master steering with one hand without fearing I'll accidentally drive off in a random direction and die, but it's a lottttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt easier now that I actually (sort of) know which gears I should be shifting depending on how steep the road is. This summer, I'm hoping I'll bike a lot more. :D

message 392: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I finished reading Anna and The French Kiss a bit ago, and Anna mentioned The Oxford Dictionary and how expensive it was, so I got really curious. I searched it on google, and damn, 'tis expensive! $1000. Wow. Now I want the whole set. (I believe there are 20 books?) Maybe someday, if I'm ever rich. I probably won't be, though...
CAREER PLANS:
definite:
-author
-artist
not definite:
-high school English teacher
-murder detective
-policeperson of some sort
-librarian? :D

message 393: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Fact about myself: I don't really ever swear. I mean, I just did in the previous post, but I only did that to express myself. I will swear if I need to make something clear or whatever (like, for example, how I cursed at my brother when he opened a car door and it slammed me in the face), but I'm not the sort of person who unintentionally swears all the time or throws around rubbish words or has to try very hard to not curse.

message 394: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I'd like to read a nice young adult book in which a character under 21 (preferably in high school) goes to a party and doesn't drink alcohol, even if they're peer pressured into it. Seriously, it's like there is no law for that. Is it a given that a teenager is going to drink alcohol and break the law? I, for one, am hoping that I won't drink any beer, wine, whiskey, vodka, rum, etc until I'm 21. I don't want my mind all muddied up, and I want to be able to control my actions and words. Also, people take advantage of drunken people, and I hate that.

message 395: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I wonder what comment number this is. I have to refresh my page to see that. If this is the... one thousandth something something fiftieth, then I shall be on page 11. I don't really like the number eleven, though. (Simple division with 11 is nice, though.) Twelve is much better. I have no idea why, but there are certain numbers that are more satisfying to me. It's weird, but twelve is really satisfying, especially because 4 times 3 is 12. (It's a satisfying equation, OKAY????!?!?!) (In case you, who ever you are, are wondering, I am not a lover of math. Math is okay, and I take an advanced class, but I don't like it that much. Some parts are better than others, but I will most definitely not take math classes in college or try a career that majorly involves math.)
Favorite numbers: 7, 12, 27, 42, 43, 56, 63, 68, 98, 100,

message 396: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Ah, so 'twas 489. XD Well...that's a lot less than a thousand. Still have 10 more comments after this to page 11.

message 397: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I just realized that, because it's the weekend, I can take a bath! I haven't done that for a while. Unfortunately, we don't own any bubble bath soap liquid formula potion or bath bombs, though. Oh well. Warm water's still nice. I won't make the mistake of lowering the temperature too much and suffering in luke-warm water again. (Is luke-warm spelled like that????????)

message 398: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Also, just saying, I wash myself everyday by means of the shower, in case I implied that I only bathe in the weekends. Or on the weekends. Whichever one is proper grammar. I just hardly ever actually take baths.

message 399: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I just ate dinner. 'Twas spaghetti! My mom makes spectacular pasta. The meat sauce is delicious. :D
