Rosie Ooh, I also love Beethoven! I really love most classical musicians, just because the tunes are always amazing. (So, basically same as you.) My mom likes classical music, too.

I haven't seen Christopher Robin yet, but I've seen tons of trailers. I hope I can see it soon, but I doubt my brother will want to. Maybe my parents will take me, but even then my dad may not want to see it, so....Dunno.

message 252: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Sorry I took so long to respond! I've had so much homework this week. Luckily, there isn't school for me on Monday, so that will be nice. Unfortunately, the next trimester starts on Tuesday, so that means PE and health class. : (
My brother is two years older than me. He's always playing games on his computer, chatting online to gamer friends, and being downright grumpy.
Yeah, it looks really sweet. Maybe I'll ask my parents if I can watch it sometime later. Or maybe it'll be put on netflix. Ya never know.

message 253: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Ooh, nice. I wish my family had a Christmas tree, but we haven't got one yet.

message 254: by Rosie (last edited Dec 01, 2018 12:06PM) (new)

Rosie It's 12:35 am & I can barely keep my eyes open. I'm typing on my phone and thinking about weird things. Example: what is the adjective form of anxiety- (view spoiler) I just remembered it's anxious. Well, my sleep deprived brain decided to think of the word "anxietant". Wow, just wow. Thanks me. Anyway, g'night.

message 255: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Oops I put a ton of that in spoilers? 'Twas unintentional, sorry

message 256: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Okay, fixed it.

message 257: by Rosie (new)

Rosie OH MY GOD. DID QUEEN OF AIR AND DARKNESS COME OUT TODAY? IF SO, I MUST HAVE IT!!!!!! AHHHH 💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘💗💖💞💘

message 258: by Rosie (new)

Rosie oh. three more days...*sobs into pillow*

message 259: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Last night, I had a nightmare. I won't get into any details (or any basic description), but I was terrified out of my wits until I woke up. I woke up at...around 10:50 or something. Near 11 is all I know.

message 260: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Ooh, I'd like to watch The Christmas Chronicles. It's an ironic Christmas movie on Netflix. Maybe I should wait until Christmas or Christmas eve, though....AH THE CHOICES WHAT MUST I DO?????

Perhaps I can watch it on Christmas on my new computer. (Assuming I do get the new computer that it is on the VERY top of my wish list.)

message 261: by Rosie (new)

Rosie My wish list:

new laptop
polaroid camera
watercolor brush pens
Queen of Air and Darkness (and maybe another book. Depends on whether my parents think this altogether is expensive enough for them and my grandparents or not.)

message 262: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Cool! I think I'll actually watch it tonight, because I'm bored.
I don't watch many Christmas movies, so I'm not sure. I'm hoping to watch more this winter break though, so I'll update you once I've watched more. : D

message 263: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Okay. I'll see if it's on Netflix. I wish my family had a tradition like that, but at this point, no one really likes the same movies, so it's rare for us to all agree on something. Usually it's only Marvel movies that we watch together. Or other action movies.

message 264: by Rosie (new)

Rosie RANDOM TOPIC: (sorry I haven't posted on here for a while, people who enjoy reading this. If you exist.)
Why is the name of this thread "A Random Documentation of My Life"? Well...I don't know. It sounded nice when I first made it, and I was thinking, Well, why not?
So. I'm going to see whether it's actually accurate. The title, that is.

Random: made, done, happening, or chosen without method or conscious decision.
Hmm. Well....I am making a conscious decision....So...not random. But it sort of fits this definition: unfamiliar or unspecified.

Documentation: material that provides official information or evidence or that serves as a record.

This...isn't...official...
So. It seems that this isn't really a random documentation of my life. (Why am I even trying this???? Last night, I thought that I would search and find out whether the title was actually what I said it was, but now that I've tried it, I regret my choices.)

message 265: by Rosie (new)

Rosie In what circumstances does one use the d: emotican???? Seriously. Is it just for...sticking your tongue out at annoying people, or are there other ways it can be used?

message 266: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I injured myself somehow. (That's not too difficult, considering I exercise 4 times a week. I wish I did more, though....) Whenever I lift my leg up or straighten and bend my leg, my hip makes a weird popping noise and hurts. It's painful. I'm going to a massage therapist or a cranial therapist on Thursday, so hopefully it can be fixed.

message 267: by Rosie (new)

Rosie OH NO. I have a quiz tomorrow in math AND a HUGE SCIENCE QUIZ THAT I AM NOT READY FOR on Friday.

message 268: by Rosie (new)

Rosie *casually cuts through a tiny piece of tape sealing a box shut with a giant kitchen knife*

message 269: by Rosie (new)

Rosie *casually eats cereal without milk with my fingers while sitting on my bed and reading things on Quora*

message 270: by Rosie (new)

Rosie EHEM. SO. I'm sorry, people who see this, that I haven't been on Goodreads. I've been really busy (as always), and I just haven't felt like posting anything on here. Probably because of all the studying I had to do for the science quiz on Friday. As it turns out, we were allowed to use our studying notes on the Quiz, but I didn't really need them because I had memorized everything. Fortunately, I did get to use my periodic table though, so that was nice.

message 271: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Last night, I had a huge art show gallery thing. I had three acrylics, one oil pastel, and 3 dips. There should have been more dips, but apparently they were lost somewhere at the art studio. : ' (
AND-
someone bought them!!! But that someone was my grandma. I'm not sure whether to feel grateful and happy or kind of...weirded out, because that art was ex-pen-sive. Not too expensive, but she also bought my brother's painting...AND she's still buying Christmas presents for us. She's great. :D

message 272: by Rosie (new)

Rosie About that hip bone injury- still injured. I'm seeing a physical therapist on Friday, so hopefully it gets better, because I'm missing SO SO SO much exercise! I didn't go to gymnastics yesterday or karate the day before, and I'm having to do at home workouts, which are fine, but going out to exercise works a lot better.

message 273: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I stayed up until 1:30 AM watching youtube videos! Hooray!

message 276: by Rosie (new)

Rosie We put our Christmas tree and the lights on our carport up. It'll look super pretty at night time. Tomorrow, we're decorating our tree! Yay. Also, as for the science quiz, I think I got an A. I checked my grade, and it's currently a 96.7%. It said it was updated the day of the quiz, so I'm assuming that that's around the score I got. Hopefully.

message 277: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "I enjoy reading this!"

Thanks! That makes me happy that anyone, really, would want to read it!

message 278: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "how are you today, Mina? and how is your hip"

I'm good, although my throat hurts a little. Hopefully I don't get sick. My hip still pops and hurts when I move it, but I'm going to see a physical therapist on Friday.

message 279: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Yup. I try to stretch before I work out, but sometimes I forget, which can hurt a bit.

message 280: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I'm going to a holiday party soon! I really should change. I'm wearing pink wool socks, reddish/pinkish sweatpants, and a baggy grey sweatshirt. Soooo attractive and formal and party-like. I'm going to be the star. hehe
I really need to go on a shopping trip. My mom said she would take me soon, because I hardly have any clothing that fits me that's warm that I like.
ahhhhhhhhhhghhhhhhh dresses

message 281: by Rosie (new)

Rosie The holiday party is sort of formal because all my parents' friends will be there. It's at their work place (kinda), and it's basically all adults and old people, which will be totally awkward, but the food and dessert is always delicious. It's always awkward because everyone's like, "You must be Mina! You've grown up to be so big and blah blah blah." Me: ...Who are you?

message 282: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I only have an older brother, but sometimes I get old hand me downs. I like his old cargo shorts, and occasionally I get a pair of pajamas. It's nice.
I've got to change and get ready, so bye :)

message 283: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Well, as it turns out, I'm not leaving yet. SO. Right now I'm sitting on my bed wearing a green and white checkered dress that is not in any way Christmas/winter holidays-y. Seriously, I NEED new clothing. I hate sounding like a spoiled teenager or whatever, but what's the point of going to a holiday party when I'm not wearing something that represents a holiday? I don't have any red dresses, and my mom doesn't like me borrowing her clothing, so I guess I'll have to wear this...green...dress. ahh whatever
I'll bask in my discomfort, bathe in the glorious pools of embarrassment, glory in the stares of old people who wonder why I'm not wearing red and white....xD

message 284: by Rosie (last edited Dec 08, 2018 04:54PM) (new)

Rosie Oh! Yay, I have 20 views on here. This is a weird thing to be that happy about, but I'm shocked any 20 people would read this. Well, hi, organisms.
I say organisms because I could technically say "peeps" or "my dudes" or something, but I like to think some of you may not be human, so organisms it is. : )

message 285: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Yay, this place (holiday party place) has wifi! :) We came early to help setup, and so far nothing too eventful happened, although I did have a long, slightly awkward conversation with a friend of my parents'. I'll try to update you all as everything happens.

message 286: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Welp. Sorry about that. I did not update you all as I said I would. I ended up kind of drowning everything out and reading a book. There was a shelf of books that people donated to the center, and they all were relatively cheap. I bought two books, five dollars each. The first book is China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan. I think it's the sequel to Crazy Rich Asians, but if it's not, that's alright as well, because I'll have the sequel to the next book once I buy it. Anyway, the second book I bought is love the one you're with by Emily Griffin. (And yes, the title of the book is in lower case letters. For dramaticism or something. Also, I'm not entirely sure dramaticism is a word. It's underlined. Well, whatever.)
So, I made it 193 pages into the book. It's really good, and I recommend it to anyone.
The entire party was spent just sitting at my table reading, really. I occasionally got up for more food- the food was delicious, and I ate a ton of dessert that I already regret consuming- or spoke to someone. I had an awkward conversation with an old woman who was a friend of my parents. The thing is, everyone is super nice, but I sort of just want to read and do my own thing, but I can't be impolite, so the conversation just continues on and on and on. At least everyone thinks I'm nice and some poster perfect daughter. Hehe. uuuuuuhghghghghghhhhhhh

message 287: by Rosie (last edited Dec 08, 2018 09:00PM) (new)

Rosie SHINE wrote: "I still get hand me downs from time to time, but it's nice to get new clothes."

Yeah, I agree. My mom said she would take me on a shopping trip sometime in the coming weeks. I'm looking forward to it, because I haven't gotten new clothing for a while. Usually we get second hand clothing from a thrift store, or I get clothing from my brother. It's fine to do that, but I really do like having new clothes.

message 288: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Bedbugs? Huh. Can that really happen? I know you can get lice from used hats, but I've never gotten bedbugs. Besides, we always wash the clothing before we wear them, although I'm not sure how effective that is.
I used to borrow my mom's clothing, but she doesn't like me doing that anymore, because I usually forget about them and leave them in my room. Sometimes she does give me her old clothing which is nice because we're the same size right now. (I'm actually a little taller and have bigger feet, but our clothing size is about the same.)

message 289: by Rosie (new)

Rosie 'tis 9:16 PM, and I ate a ton of sugar tonight, so I better do some workouts. G'bye organisms, I'm going to exercise a bit, burn some calories.

message 290: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "Im the daughter every parent wants : stays at home, reads like a nerd, and no boyfriend
😂😂"

XD Same! My parents do occasionally get worried when I reveal how late I stay up reading, but oh welllllllll

message 291: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I just realized that I can use the money I'll get from selling my artworks to buy a digital camera, so yay! This means I can get an actual camera and a digital one! Even if the digital one is cheap, I'm becoming a bit obsessed with photography after reading some of a book involving it, so I'll be happy.

message 292: by Rosie (new)

Rosie A couple days ago I learned that a girl at my school who I thought was a slightly shallow classic-girly-girl does a ton of sports. God, I feel so judgmental. I read too much and watch too many shows about shallow people that I forget that people in real life are hardly ever like that.
Well, anyway, time to workout.
Also: update: I learned that China Rich Girlfriend is indeed the sequel to Crazy Rich Asians, so I'm looking forward to reading it tomorrow once I finish love the one you're with by Emily Griffin. Yay!

message 293: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Oh, and one more thing: I found an old pair of pajama pants that my brother doesn't fit into or wear anymore, and I'm super happy because they're soft and comfortable and actually sorta cute! They're checked and red and white and reach my ankles, so they fit, too! YAY

message 294: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Anyway, time to burn those calories! 💪

message 295: by Rosie (new)

Rosie (Although it is difficult to do effective ab workouts when I have to do them with one leg bent, because otherwise my hip will pop painfully.....😭)
RIGHT. TIME TO STOP STALLING AND DO THOSE AXERCISES
EXERCISES, THAT IS. I COULD HAVE DELETED THAT, BUT I FIND IT SORT OF FUNNY.
From now on, I'm going to call exercises axercises. Or at least try to. Let's be honest; I'll probably forget.

message 296: by Rosie (last edited Dec 08, 2018 09:36PM) (new)

Rosie I'm going to start taking private kung fu lessons with a friend of my dads! Apparently she's a really awesome, (view spoiler) woman with tons of training and a black belt in shao lin (not sure if I spelled that right) and mantis. I can hardly wait! I think I'm starting in January sometime. Unfortunately, i'll have to quit doing something I do right now, so I might have to do one less day of karate. : (

message 297: by Rosie (new)

Rosie YES. I survived a 10 minute workout. UHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGhhhhhh that was difficult. But totally worth it. I watch Chloe Ting's workout videos, and they're all sup-erb. Also, her stomach is totally goals.
Oh! One thing-
I have a new goal in life! I now have four:
(in no particular order)
- write and publish a book and have it become #1 New York Times bestselling
-beat my brother in an arm wrestle (unlikely, but still a goal)
-have a six pack (abs, not the alcohol. and by a six pack, I mean I want a six pack. Like, a ripped six pack. XD)
-be able to do 20 pull ups in succession (the new goal)

message 298: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Ehem, organisms. I survived another 10 minute workout. Whoop whoop! I'm gonna do another one and another one after that, I think. : )

message 299: by Rosie (last edited Dec 08, 2018 10:00PM) (new)

Rosie Oh my gosh! I just realized the It's Personal photo changed, and now the theme is all winter holiday like! It's really beautiful. I think the moderators change it every season! That's so creative and awesome. <3

message 300: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Okay. I'm breathing very heavily right now. I finished a third 10 minute workout video, and boy am I tired. I'm going to pretend it's not 10:22 PM and try to do another one. After that, I'm going to finish a book I'm reading. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to shower, finish my homework (I have sooooooo much *weeps*) and then go to a play with my grandma.
The reason I have a ton of homework is because I didn't finish my classwork in social studies on Friday, so I have to do it as homework. As it turns out, this is the kind of homework that needs an atlas, but I don't have an atlas, so I'm going to have to search online for a ton of stupid information about continents and countries.
