Rosie True. I'm not sure what the controversy is even about- I looked at some articles, and everything is really confusing- but I'm looking forward to seeing the movie, because he's a fantastic actor.

message 202: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Yeah, Johnny Depp is hilarious. I love his movies and his sense of humor.

I'm planning on reading it sometime, once I've saved up enough money to buy a copy. (I technically could check out a copy from the library, but I prefer to own the books I read. I'm a...bibliophile.) I could also get a copy for Christmas, but I'd rather save up my own money instead.

Rosie Emily wrote: "He has said some things I don't agree with, but to be honest, that's going to happen with everyone. We are human so we will never agree on everything"

Really? I don't study into him much, so I don't really know who he is as a person. What did he say?

message 205: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Also, yay, page 6.

Oh. I see. I don't like Trump either, but yeah, murder isn't something to joke about.

Rosie Emily wrote: "random cauliflower broccoli banana spinach wrote: "Emily wrote: "random cauliflower broccoli banana spinach wrote: "Emily wrote: "I love Hamilton so much it is like my oxygen. Im reading this huge ..."

Yup. There are some books I've read from the library that I want to keep only because I loved them so much. The library is great for books you're not completely sure about, but I definitely prefer buying books and keeping them for myself.

message 208: by Rosie (new)

Rosie You have a sister? Younger or older? I'm just curious because I have a brother, and he can be a real pain, but there are some nice aspects about having an older sibling.

message 209: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "I want a bunch of book for my birthday and Christmas"

Me too! I have a super long to read list on Goodreads.

message 210: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "I have 2 sisters both older and 1 older brother and 2 younger brothers who can all be a pain but I would definitely have a lot of siblings than none"

Wow. So...5 siblings. That sounds really loud and busy, but also maybe nice.

Rosie Emily wrote: "random cauliflower broccoli banana spinach wrote: "Emily wrote: "I want a bunch of book for my birthday and Christmas"

I have over 200"

I have...let me go check..

Okay, I have 278.

message 212: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "So I just looked and we only have I think 7 books that we have both read."

Wait really? Wow, that's hardly any. I'm going to go check.
This is what Goodreads says: (This includes books neither of us have read, but want to read)
Emily’s books: 336 (293 not in common)
Books in common: 43 (6.19% of your library and 12.80% of her library)
My books: 695 (652 not in common)
Cool.

message 213: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "My oldest sister and oldest brother don't live at home anymore, but it is nice."

do you get a lot of hand-me-down clothing? I like being the younger sibling, because some of my older brother's clothing I can wear once he grows out of it. He has these really really nice leather boots that I want once my feet are big enough.

message 214: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "but of the ones we have both read are less than 10 :("

You're right! There's only seven: Little Town On The Prairie, On The Banks of Plum Creek, Little House In The Big Woods, Little House On The Prairie, Alice In Wonderland, Sense and Sensibility, and The Hobbit.

message 215: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Oh! I loved The Book Thief! Tell me what you think once you finish reading it.

Rosie Cool! It's one of my favorite books, and I love the writing style.

message 218: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Random fact about me: I get really physically motivated late into the night. And this is what I mean by that: At like 10:30 PM, I start watching exercise videos and healthy breakfast ideas. I just did a 10 minute ab workout.
Yup, I'm a bit weird like that. I have to be super quiet though, because I've worked out late at night before, and my parents heard me doing jumping jacks or something and got annoyed. XD

message 219: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I'm watching Chloe Ting's workout videos. And wowww yup I do feel the burn. The thing is, I doubt I'll keep doing these every day. I wish I would, though. I like to be in top physical condition. (I already exercise 4 days of the week, but not all of it is conditioning, even if it does exercise me.)

message 220: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I just searched "guacamole paste recipe" and learned that guacamole is much less simple than I thought it was. I thought it was simple: mush up avocados and add some spice. And boyyy was I wrong. There are like 10 ingredient recipes to make guacamole. Then again, if I want tasty guacamole, I probably want to go with those. aghhh

message 221: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I watched Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald today. In terms of the plot, it was confusing, seemed like it was missing parts, and overall, not as great as I expected it to be. In terms of acting, it was amazing. I love Ezra Miller and Eddie Redmayne and basically all the actors/actresses. Still, I wish it hadn't been so utterly confusing. And (view spoiler)

message 222: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I brought my school flute home from school on Wednesday, but I haven't practiced at all. All the other flutists have the high notes memorized, but I don't yet. And I still can't play all of Mozart. AGHHHHHHHHH
BUT: We got sheet music for Sleigh Ride, so I'm super excited, because I love love love that song!!!! <3 <3 <3

message 223: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I think I want a Fitbit for Christmas. Hmmm. The good ones are extremely expensive, though.

message 224: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Right now, my Christmas wish list is the following:
-new laptop + quality headphones + a nice mouse without a chord attaching it to laptop
-quality fit bit
-polaroid camera
-art supplies (new mechanical pencils + sketchbook + colored pencils or watercolor)
-combat boots
-books ❤❤❤❤

I know everything on there is expensive, so I'll probably end up getting only half or less, but I'll be grateful if I get any of those nonetheless. Those are just my ideal gifts. I really do want the combat boots, polaroid camera, and laptop though.
and the combat boots. Then again, my feet will eventually grow, and those combat boots will eventually be too small.
BUT
this doesn't stop me from wishing.

message 225: by Rosie (new)

Rosie 'tis 11:43 PM, I need to use the restroom, and I'm hungry. Well. The good thing about getting hungry late at night is that because I know I ate a healthy dinner and all, I can resist the urge to go get a midnight snack.
I am really tired. Ahhhhh I should sleep.
Sorry 'bout that. I seem to be saying "I should sleep" very often on here. And I usually don't sleep when I say that.
BUT I shall. So, bye organisms. May you have pleasant lives. Or something. : D
And goodnight.

message 226: by Rosie (last edited Nov 24, 2018 08:24PM) (new)

Rosie Good morning pals.
I ate a delicious breakfast and took a bath. SO.
LIST OF FEARS: (in no particular order)
-drowning
-falling off a cliff
-leaches
-slugs
-bees of any kind (hornets, wasps, and yellow-jackets included)
-being kidnapped (I get tense whenever I'm walking alone and I pass someone also walking alone)
-failing school
-centipedes
-spiders
-sea anemones
-never having any true friends
-never finding a spouse/partner/lover/romantic friend thing
-having a close friend or family member die without me saying a proper goodbye
-public humiliation of any kind
-being asked a question (in front of multiple other people who I'm not close with) that I don't know

message 227: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "I do Chloe Ting work out videos too! And I play the flute too.
My list of fears: (also not in order)
centipedes
spiders
drowning
burning to death
dying alone"

OH MY GOSH. CENTIPEDES. I totally forgot to add those to my list. I hate that stinky black kind with orange dots on it's separate parts. Anyone know the kind I'm talking about? urghhh *shudders*

message 228: by Rosie (new)

Rosie SHINE wrote: "Yes, another person who has all types of bees fear! I'm not alone!"

Yup. Once, in kindergarten, I picked up a flower that turned out to have a bumble bee in it and got stung. (On the finger.)
Another time I was swinging really high at a parent's friends house in their backyard, and my head hit the tree above me. I thought nothing of it until my head started hurting like crazy. Turned out I had been stung in the head by a yellow jacket.
I've been stung by other types of bees other times, but those two were the most memorable. I always get super scared whenever I pass a bee in the backyard, and sometimes I run back inside if I see a hornet near the raspberry bushes. BEES. ARE. TERRIFYING. Even if humans are probably more terrifying to them. (I'm actually not that allergic to bees, but they still scare me.)

message 229: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Emily wrote: "I do Chloe Ting work out videos too! And I play the flute too.
My list of fears: (also not in order)
centipedes
spiders

You also do Chloe Ting workouts? WOW. I did not know that. And you play the flute too...I guess we're pretty similar. I've played the flute for about two years now. (Not that long.) How about you?

message 230: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Okay, I added a bit more to the fears. There are a ton I didn't include, so now there are more. Fears:
-drowning
-falling off a cliff
-leaches
-slugs
-bees of any kind (hornets, wasps, and yellow-jackets included)
-being kidnapped (I get tense whenever I'm walking alone and I pass someone also walking alone)
-failing school
-centipedes
-spiders
-sea anemones
-never having any true friends
-never finding a spouse/partner/lover/romantic friend thing
-having a close friend or family member die without me saying a proper goodbye
-public humiliation of any kind
-being asked a question (in front of multiple other people who I'm not close with) that I don't know (basically public humiliation)
-walking home alone at night
-being homeless
-living alone in a shady area
-not being able to defend myself (I'm taking karate lessons, so this shouldn't be a problem in a few years.)

message 231: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I really want to see the movie Five Feet Apart. (It's being released sometime in spring of 2019, I think.) Reasons: I saw the trailer before I watched Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. It reminds me of The Fault In Our Stars and Everything, Everything (which I have not read). It looks good. The characters! Cole Sprouse.

message 232: by Rosie (new)

Rosie SHINE wrote: "I’ve been bitten by yellow jackets 8x (3 from the big ones in different years, and 5x from a little one a few years ago) and I’ve been stung by a bee in the mouth about 2 years ago. It was in my so..."

Oh my gosh. That sounds awful! I'm lucky enough to not have been stung that many times. Are you allergic? (Even if you aren't, being stung that many times still is horrible.)

message 233: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Owwww. That's kind of painful for me just to hear it.
Once (this isn't exactly related, except it's also painful), my dad and his brother (my uncle) found a ton of vines in the forest near their house. They swung on them all day (they were pretty young, and this was a long time ago). Later, they discovered that the vines had been poison oak (or ivy? I don't remember which one my dad told me it was), and they had to be sent to the ER, because they were covered in boils and rashes all over their bodies, everywhere.

message 234: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I've been binge watching "harry potter characters as vines" and "mauraders as vines" compilations. It's...fun.
I ate too much for dinner, so now my stomach sort of hurts.
and......
tomorrow I'm going to watch the ballet Swan Lake. : D

message 235: by Rosie (last edited Nov 24, 2018 10:54PM) (new)

Rosie "and just remember: no one will ever be able to hate you more than you already *voice breaks* hate yourself"
"what? you're not coming to my tea party? Bethany, I made BISCUITS"
"i have no soul. have a nice day! *gives old many smiley face balloon*" "I don't have one either." "*laughter*"
"WHAT ARE THOSE!?" "They are. My. Crocs."
"you're all going to hell...goodbye!!!! *slides down railing of stairs*" *muffled laughter*
"But I am. So. Hurt-" "we're all hurt-" "god, shut up! just go- go sit over there"
"you better watch out, you better watch out, you better watch out, you better watch out, you better watch-"
"if I had a penny for every time I wasn't cool, I'd have- no pennies" *reveals Magic cards*
"*crying* well- it's been a great day today! can't wait for tomorrow!"

There's more...much more. These aren't even my favorites.
Soooo yeah. I like vines, and I didn't discover that until after vine was shut down or whatever happened to it, so I just randomly binge watch vine compilations sometimes. Why? Because. They're amusing.

Rosie "Hey bro, what'dya wanna eat?"
The souls of the innocent! "A bagel."
Nooo! "Two bagels."

message 237: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I love the band Panic! At The Disco. My favorite songs are:
High Hopes
This Is Gospel
Death of A Bachelor
The Ballad of Mona Lisa
Emperor's New Clothes
I Write Sins Not Tragedies
Say Amen

message 238: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Welcome to the end of eras
Ice has melted back to life
Done my time and served my sentence
Dress me up and watch me die
If it feels good, tastes good
It must be mine
Dynasty decapitated
You just might see a ghost tonight
And if you don't know now you know
I'm taking back the crown
I'm all dressed up and naked
I see what's mine and take it (Finders keepers, losers weepers)
Oh yeah
The crown
So close I can taste it
I see what's mine and take it (Finders keepers, losers weepers)
Oh yeah
Sycophants on velvet sofas
Lavish mansions, vintage wine
I am so much more than royal
Snatch your chain and mace your eyes
If it feels good, tastes good
It must be mine
Heroes always get remembered
But you know legends never die
And if you don't know now you know
I'm taking back the crown
I'm all dressed up and naked
I see what's mine and take it (finders keepers, losers weepers)
Oh yeah
The crown
So close I can taste it
I see what's mine and take it (finders keepers, losers weepers)
Oh yeah
Mortal kings are ruling castles
Welcome to my world of fun
Liars settle into sockets
Flip the switch and watch them run
Oh yeah
(Finders keepers, losers weepers)
I'm taking back, back, taking back, back the crown
I'm all dressed up and naked
I see what's mine and take it (Finders keepers, losers weepers)
Oh yeah
The crown
So close I can taste it
I see what's mine and take it (Finders keepers, losers weepers)
Oh yeah
(Finders keepers, losers weepers)
(Finders keepers, losers weepers)

I really don't understand how Brendan Urie can exist with those vocal chords. In this song (Emperor's New Clothes) his voice goes up really high and down really low and honestly, WOW.
Then again. Freddie Mercury existed. Sooooo.

Rosie I'm watching a video titled "I Put One Hundred Million Orbeez In My Friend's Backyard".
Why am I watching this...?

message 240: by Rosie (new)

Rosie The lights are off, I'm laying in bed half asleep, it's 12:22 am, and...I hear my mom in the kitchen washing dishes??????? I'm confused; I'll have to ask about this in the morning- ah fudge, 'tis already morning. We'll, I'll ask about this in around 8 hours, I suppose. Anyway pals, thank you for viewing this. 17 people- I'm practically on the same level as Pewdiepie! XD

message 241: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I feel the unhealthy urge to listen to music......

No no no. I must sleep. Goodnight or good mornin organisms. Farewell

message 242: by Rosie (new)

Rosie 'tis 10:15, and I shall be leaving to watch Swan Lake in approximately 2 hours. Yay. Also, I'm going to buy some flowers at a supermarket for my friend who's performing.

message 243: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Well. It turns out that she got sick, so we're not buying flowers. We're still going to watch Swan Lake, though. I didn't mention this before, but we're both friends with another girl, and she's still going to see Swan Lake, so I'll be watching with my mom, her mom, and her.

message 244: by Rosie (new)

Rosie YES YES YES!!! I FINALLY MANAGED TO DO BRIDGE! (Bridge is a type of shuffling. For shuffling cards.) I'M SUPER HAPPY!!!

message 245: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Good morning folks. I'm feeling particularly art-y today, so I hope I get to draw a lot during school. And: I need to leave for school in about 3 minutes.

message 246: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I organized my bookshelves a little more nicely a couple days ago. Now they look better.
I have three bookshelves: One tall, fullsize one that has a normal wideness. One short one split into tiny compartments that was supposed to be a shelf. One wide short but taller than the 2nd one that holds two shelves of books and a few shelves of other things. BOOKS <3

message 247: by Rosie (new)

Rosie ah
i need to leave now
ba-bye

message 248: by Rosie (new)

Rosie That embarrassing moment when you forget how to divide fractions... *flushes in shame*

message 249: by Rosie (new)

Rosie Today, during band class, all we played was one song: Mozart. (I know that he's actually a musician, and a dead one at that, but we have a song called Mozart that has some of his songs mixed together.) We also did some scales for a warmup, but those don't count. And, at the end of class, I was given a horse hair from a bass's bow.

message 250: by Rosie (new)

Rosie I always hug my parents goodbye and tell them I love them when they go somewhere, even if they're only going to be gone for around half an hour, because because I've read so many tragic books, I'm always worried that something horrible will happen and I won't have said goodbye properly.
