I'm not sure how many pushups in a row I can do now. Actually, why don't I test that out right now. Okay, so one minute.
I did 30 in a row. I think I could do more if I really wanted to, but my arms started to ache from yesterday's workout, so I stopped.
As for pullups, I'm not sure. I haven't really tried. Maybe...two? One? XD I really need to work on that. I have been doing at least 10 pushups a day lately, so at least that will improve my arm strength. I would lift weights like my brother, but because we don't have anywhere else to do it, I'd have to do it in the cold, drafty garage, and I really like going to the gym better, so I think I'll stick with at home workouts with no equipment.

I had a dream last night that I was at a bookstore but couldn't find Queen of Air and Darkness. It was..really sad, actually. It started raining, and somehow it got through the roof and hit me on the head, so we had to leave the bookstore, and I hadn't even bought the book! : (
Also, I think the dream involved someone's horrible dad who would throw glass bottles at everyone. (I don't know anyone like that, don't worry) It was scary.

Yup, it sure wasn't pleasant. Fortunately, none of them hit me, but I think I almost stepped on the glass remains. It was a weird dream.

Well, obviously I'm going to finish writing some entries/posts in this journal thing first.

ANYWAY. We decorated the tree, and everyone agreed it was like a shrine to me because there was an ornament of me as a 7 year old. (A picture.) XD We listened to Christmas music as we decorated, and afterwards I played Rummy with my dad. He annihilated me, but I got 190 points the second game, so HA.

Yesterday, my grandma took me to a play about the middle sister from Pride and Prejudice. Her name was...Mary, I think. Or maybe that was one of her sisters. I'm not entirely sure, because I've only actually read half of the book, and that was a while ago. The play was pretty good, but it was super cheesy. Afterwards, my grandma took me to a little bakery across the street, and I got some hot chocolate and an apple tart. The apple tart was delicious, but the hot chocolate was super bitter. It was raining outside, but overall it was an awesome trip.

-a tiny rubber chicken
-a spy pen (erasable ink)
-an enormous candy cane
-a bag of chocolate toffees
-super woman soap (soap...with superwoman on the packaging. don't ask why. i don't know)
-red fuzzy winter holiday themed socks (I'm not sure what holiday she celebrates, so I made sure that Santa wasn't on them, in case she celebrates Hanukkah or Solstice instead)
-adorable stickers of alpacas
I think that's it. I really really really hope she isn't allergic to any foods, because I'd feel horrible if she couldn't eat the candy things I got her.

Of course, that's a very common occurrence. XD

The food was a delicious cookie like thing: On the bottom layer was cookie dough, then there was oreos, then on top was a layer of fudge. After being cooked, we put caramel sauce on the top. And MMMMMMM was it delicious.

Also, yesterday, after gymnastics my grandma took my brother and I to a place where an astronaut gave a big speech. Apparently he took the most pictures in outer space ever, and he spent the...second most, I think, time in outer space. But yeah, it was really awesome. I did fall asleep for a while sometime in the middle, though.

OUCH.
But- I'm seeing a physical therapist tomorrow! Hopefully she will know what's wrong and it'll be fixable. Hopefully.
In case anyone is wondering, my time was 8 minutes, 15 seconds. I know, I know, wimpy. Especially for someone that exercises four days a week and works out every day. I like to think I'll do better next month when my hip is healed and I've practiced running more. (In PE class, we're going to run a mile every month and record our times. EUUUUUUUGHHHHh and sorta yay. Dunno.)

I wore basically what I wore for my Halloween costume, but minus the suit jacket thing: Black dress pants, a white button up shirt, and pointed, slightly heeled shoes with buckles on the front. (My hip aches at the memory of walking, especially walking in those, but I must say that I looked kinda classy. I like looking classy, but I hardly have any classy clothing.)
One of the songs we played was Sleigh Ride (the Christmas song), and it sounded great, but the trumpets making noises that were supposed to sound like horses whinnying sounding more like dying elephants. No offense, trumpets. XD

I know that contentment will be lost once I have to start working on my science homework. 😫

Why? Well, I ate a candy cane yesterday, so that explains why I'm feeling under the weather. I really need to stop eating sugar, but Christmas is the only season that I get to eat candy canes! My hip hurts because I injured it, and it got worse yesterday after I ran a mile. My arms hurt because on Wednesday, I spent two hours at gymnastics doing only conditioning because I couldn't do anything else because of my stupid hip, and at least half or two thirds of the two hours I spent doing arm exercises. My legs hurt because I ran a mile, and I don't usually do that.

Everyone got one regular donut hole, one powdered sugar covered donut hole, and one chocolate covered donut hole. It was all super super scrumptious. ^﹏^

really unhealthy. It still tastes good though..

Anyway, my feet hurt for a couple days after the sleepover because we played a game called the Mat Game. We set up mats on the floor, and it was sort of like red light green light. Some of the mats were big, and others were small. One person was at one end, and everyone else was at the other. The people who weren't chosen to be at the front would crawl and hide behind the mats and try to sneak up and touch the person at the front, but the person at the front got to point out if they saw anyone sticking out from behind a mat when they turned around. They had their back turned for about 2 seconds, and then they would whip around. It was fun, but, like I said, sliding on the floor got me a ton of rug burns on my feet. I don't regret it, though.
Everyone stayed up till around 4:00 AM or later, and because we had to wake up at 8 AM to leave because there were classes, everyone got 4 hours of sleep or less. I was totally exhausted, but it was sooooo fun. Everyone got delirious after 12:00 am, and we played duck duck goose, jumped around, and genuinely went mad. I shared a trampoline with two other girls, and everyone kept sliding to the middle, but it was fun. I didn't sleep much, but in that small amount of time, I slept well.
My secret Santa had me as their secret Santa, so we exchanged gifts. : D I got a star ornament, candy, and a sequined pillow. The sequined pillow was the kind you can draw on because the sequins are different colors on one side. The back of the pillow is super soft and fuzzy.
When I got home after the sleepover, I slept for four and a half hours, ate lunch, and went to hang out with a friend. That was Sunday. I was utterly exhausted, but yeahhhhh the sleepover was awesome. :D I also played Super Smash Bros with one of the two boys on the team, and I don't think he hates me! Yay. I like Super Smash Bros. I always play as Samus. Our family has a Wii that we hardly ever use, but I remember that I liked playing that game. And Mario.

Speaking of language arts: I learned that my language arts teacher wakes up at 4 am and runs six miles before she comes to school! Just...wow. What a role model. I wish I could do that, but I don't get enough sleep as it is, and I'm super paranoid and would think that I would get kidnapped if I got up that early, so 6 am it is.
Also, I'm giving a really pretty Christmas tree card I made to my LA teacher tomorrow. I'm also giving her a potted plant. The potted plant is from my mom, who heard that I love my LA teacher, so yeah.
Also, tomorrow, everyone in the class is going to read each other's stories anonymously through a classroom site, and we're going to peer edit everyone's. We're also going to drink hot chocolate at the same time. (My language arts teacher is awesome. XD)

I may have already mentioned this. I don't want to go back and check though.
I'm SOOOOOOOOOO jealous. Gymnastics is fun, but I wish I'd been enrolled in some sort of martial arts training when I was younger so that I could be super skilled now. : (
really, it's quite inconvenient to get athletically motivated at nighttime when your family is asleep. (Actually, my brother is probably on his computer right now. But everyone else is probably asleep or trying to sleep.)
