Jaime, I think this is my first Stephen King book that I will read! I have watched numerous movies based on his books, but have never read the books themselves. Surprising, I know. At least I am making effort now.

Yeah. It has grown with Neil Gaiman and will prob happen with both John Grisham and Stephen King too!

Hi, Cynda, Your reading list looks great. Misery is classic Stephen King! I’m just reaching the end of John Grisham’s Sycamore Row which I’m really enjoying. I notice it’s set in Ford County, which I didn’t know when I picked it up ;) Enjoy your books and enchiladas!

Susan, this is my first John Grisham. I wanted tk start with short stories. Since you are enjoying Sycamore Row, thenI know I have made a good first choice. Whew.

Susy, I started it soon enough in the readathon to know it will fascinate. So while I am recovering from my sickness, I will read it in my bed. I have opened the windows which are right at bed height. Perfect for reading enjoyable book. Thanks for asking.

GR Catching Up on the Classics is voting on what to read in December. One selection: The Warden. So I changed my vote to The Warden. Fingers crossed.

You did great for not feeling well! If you haven't seen the 'Misery' movie yet, I recommend it (I'm a fan of watching the movie after reading the book). I have a hard time seeing Kathy Bates in anything else now - she IS Misery!

Take care of yourself (and definitely do some more reading while you recover :)

Closing Survey
1. How would you assess your reading overall? Yeah I was committed. I almost crawled into the ER with acute respiratory problems--a list--and I read The Sleeper and the Spindle by Neil Gaiman and then started Ethel and Ernest by Raymond Briggs as I waited at the hospital for medical process.

2. Did you have a strategy, if so, did you stick to it? I had a plan to nap at hour 6. I ended up sleeping too late in the readathon that it hampered my reading. From now, I am sleeping 3 hours/2 sleep cycles right about the middle of the readathon.

3. What was your favorite snack. I had some nice trail mix and ripe bananas. I'm so doing that again.

4. Wanna volunteer for our next event? Yes. I enjoy co-moderating.
