Rules
It is then your team's job to fill in the letters on your board. You can do this by doing the following:
- Read a book of your own choice
- Make a note of the first letter of each word in your chosen book's title and author's name.
(Eg: Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting would give you 'D', 'O', 'T', and 'K'.
True Love and Other Disasters by Rachel Gibson would give you 'T', 'L', 'A', 'O', 'D', 'R', and 'G'.)
- Choose which ONE of your letters you would like to use for your book (so for Desires of the Dead you might choose 'O')

* Your team will only need to read one book per letter, no matter how many times it appears in your current board. So for 'Sweet Evil', you could read Everneath, and cross all 3 E's off with that one book.
* You must use the original title for your chosen book, you may not use alternate editions for this challenge.

And then the wheel spin gives us extra bonus points on top of the BR and page points. Totally random.

XD Yeah it's longer than everyone else's. I suppose we always have a chance for more points from that wheel.

How many points is it per title completed?

It's ten points per title completed, so if you get the right spin of the wheel, you can earn a lot more points that way than through completing the board ☺

Ooohh interesting!

Also do we have to only use one book per letter? As BRs within our team seem to be redundant. I'm assuming we can bank books for later, but are we able to count a book for just one E rather than all 3 (for example)?

Yes, it's one book per letter, like the game show. The more E's there are (for example) the more bonus points you can earn, depending on the spin of the wheel. It isn't possible to use two books for E on the same board.

It's perfectly fine to bank books for later, just keep a record of what you haven't posted, and then post them when your next board is available.

You'll probably find that it's fine to buddy read within your group for letters which are going to pop up frequently, like E, and T, as you'll be able to get ahead of yourselves and have several letters ready for the next board ☺

You could also buddy read a book like this - Even the Darkest Stars, and one of you submit it for 'E', and one for 'S'. That way you'd cross off 9 letters in your first board with just 2 people reading 1 book ☺

The thing is, if the wheel hits that big 50 points, you want that as many times as possible, not just once.

If we have 3 E's and we spin a 50-point wheel spin, do we get 50x3 for the 3 E's? Or just 50?

You get 50 points for each letter, each time it appears. So if there are 3 E's, you would get 150 points ☺

Maddison, I'm afraid I can't accept that page count because it comes from an audiobook edition. The next highest is 450, so you will get 4+4 points ☺
