Thanks Mell :)

Happy Reading!!
Good luck getting your third book Heather - it's annoying when that happens isn't it! I started my first this morning :)

I love a good super hero! I even love a evil super hero!
So how could I go past this challenge??
I have 6 books in mind, 3 Aussie Authors, 2 women authors!
Wonder Woman
*Read a book written by a woman
One of my female authors this month:
Live and Let Diet

Captain America
*Read a book set in the USA
Another female lead, but a male author:

Thor
*Read a book based on mythology - e.g. Greek, Roman or Nordic gods; Well it is a book about Loki, Thor's brother, so that's got to be close huh?

Superman
*A book set in space
As I can't go a month without reading a science fiction book
(a bad habit I can't seem to break) I am happy that if there are Xenomorphs and "predators" they stay in space well away from me:

Aquaman
*Read a book that is set in, on or around water
"Sons of the Shire" A story about Cronulla surf gangs and the infamous riots

Elektra
*Read a book featuring a kick-ass female MC
Again this is one of several female leads, but I am going with:

1. Wonder Woman...a book written by a woman
Burial Rites by Hannah Kent..

2. The Flash...read a novella..
Fool's Sanctuary by Jennifer Johnston

3. Captain America...a book set in America
Wonder by R.J. Palacio

Thanks for another great challenge.

Thanks Phrynne! It was an impulse borrow when I saw it in the library yesterday, and the back cover blurb sounded pretty good!

Trisha, one of my local bookclubs read Wonder and it was an enjoyable read. The movie was good too!

Wonder Woman - book translated into English
Your Second Life Begins When You Realize You Only Have One by Raphaëlle Giordano
Jazzy wrote: "2/12 so far!
The Invention of Hugo Cabret & The Glass Castle"
Did you enjoy them Jazzy? Can you add a star rating so we know if we should follow them up? Thanks :)

Courage to Be You: Inspiring Lessons from an Unexpected Journey. 5 star book! This is a wonderful read! I know that not everyone would be interested as I am. The author lives in Utah, where I live and also is the same faith as I am. But she offers some inspiring messages on marriage, what success is, finding your own voice, business, faith, friendship and much more.
Next is my Aussie author, The Dry.
