Theo | 1929 comments I didn't get picks for this month. Can I get a re-pick please?

Here's my shelf (message 14)

message 55: by Theo (new)

Theo | 1929 comments I'm still waiting on a re-pick, as my partner did not post picks for me...

Can someone else choose for me? My shelf is linked in the message above this one.

Hi Theo -
I'm not sure if I'm authorized to do this, but I would pick First Drop of Crimson (Night Huntress World, #1) by Jeaniene Frost and Sold by Patricia McCormick for you, with a bonus pick of Still Life (Chief Inspector Armand Gamache, #1) by Louise Penny because I really enjoy that mystery series.

Theo | 1929 comments Thanks Erica! I'll take your picks.

Chelle_Rydz (chellerydz) | 621 comments Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury ✰✰✰
I can't believe I had never read this one before, especially for school.

I read my first pick this week before I watched the HBO movie.
They made some interesting creative choices. But, as usual, I liked the book much more.
I am really enjoying adding some classics to my reading plan since last year.

I have so wanted to read this book for a long time. Seeing your post has pushed me over the edge - this one goes to the top of the pile for next month!

I finished The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules (League of Pensioners #1) by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg yesterday and am sorry to say it was a bit disappointing. Funny enough but just didn't quite hit the mark. I give it three stars.

Moving on to News of the World by Paulette Jiles but I won't get to any of my other books this month. Too busy.
