Ok ,I am giving a complete review of all 4 volumes in this one only as its the ending as there wont be any spoilers.

Well when I started it reminded me of fifty shades. Totally into spanking and to much XXX.As the move forward both of the characters were always indulging into some kind of intimation with other characters which were equal to non existing ones.I personally felt like when will they come together.It really made my head ache.

They both were trying to get to the point but were always going down the other roads.Making it more frustrating for the any reader.In the middle part when they actually came together it was even more complicated and emotional for me😭.I actually felt like I should go in there and fix all the problems.

This was a beautiful ending for Krissy and Devon. They had to fight long and hard to get there but they got there. As always the chemistry was high, the fighting was extreme, and Devon's past is a cow. You can't have a man like Devon and not have the past at least show up once. Krissy has shown her strength throughout the series, she fought for love. Love the cross over with Club Prive French Connection (Gavin and Carrie) On another note, I would love to see a Landon book! :)

Smokin Hot

Chasing Perfection, was emotional, heartbreaking, sexually Hot and filled with Passion and love. DeVon, was a changed man who only had eyes and a appetite for his only love Krissy. Krissy was definitely done with using men for sex and moving on, not giving any of them a chance to build a relationship with her. As DeVon starts to think about a more committed relationship with Krissy, his past comes back to put a halt to his wants and demand him to seek a new path. One that don't include Krissy...As Krissy is dealing with some health issues, Devon is pulling away from her and now she's not sure what's going to happen between her and DeVon or if they have a future together.

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series and was delighted to get another insight into DeVon and Krissy's romance. I know this says standalone, but really, I think you should read them all to get the whole story. It was by turns fun, sexy, dramatic and heartwarming. I enjoyed the plot, which was comfortably predictable, and was delighted at the outcome.

Looking forward to what Ms Parker comes up with next!

She’s afraid this is the end of their relationship and is willing to fight for their loves. Will this secret destroy Krissy and DeVon relationship or will it bring them closer than ever?

Over the past year they have moved in together and moved forward in their relationship. She has never been happier. When DeVon started not missing work and coming home late, Krissy knows something is up but when she tried to talk to him about it, he has excuses that he was working off site to get more business. The problem is she couldn’t prove that he was lying. Krissy knows deep down inside that something is wrong and wants to help DeVon but it changes from avoiding her questions to avoiding her altogether, she starts to fear her relationship is coming to an end.

DeVon is loving how is life is turning out. Working with Krissy and going home with her every night is a dream come true. He never thought he was that type of person he is but Krissy is prefect for him. She submits to him in the bedroom but gives him a run for his money in the rest of their life together. DeVon does everything he can to keep this secret from her but when she starts to pushing for more he doesn’t know how to tell her. On top of that his ex wants more from DeVon than he is willing to give and when she gives him an ultimatum, he is left wondering how he can chose between the two.

This is the fourth volume in the Chasing Perfection series by M. S. Parker and my favourite of the four. I love how in sync Krissy and DeVon are with each other. The chemistry between these two has never cooled down and their relationship is perfect for what they want in life. It’s not always easy to work with your partner but they seem to make it work. When DeVon starts keeping secrets from Krissy, she see right through him. Giving him the space she thought he needed, Krissy still worried about what was going on. If that wasn’t bad enough, Krissy is getting sick which only gives DeVon more excuses to keep things from her. I have to give Krissy credit for her patience with DeVon and giving him his space. When she finally gives in and follows him to see where he is going she jumps to conclusion. The fact that she reminds herself that he did that once and it hurt their relationship and kept them apart until the truth came out shows how much faith and trust she has in him and their relationship. When DeVon finally lets Krissy in and tells her everything that is going on and the ultimatum he was given.
The emotional roller coaster ride M. S. Parker takes us on kept me on edge and wondering what was going to happen next. I couldn’t put the book down as I wanted to know what DeVon was going to do and how Krissy would handle the secrets. This addition to the series doesn’t disappoint and ends in their story perfectly. This is one of the few series I will read again and recommend it to my fellow readers.

Wow! Yeah… That was a seriously messed up predicament DeVon found himself in. Oddly enough, the thing about it that surprised me the most was that Sasha was the first (and apparently only) crazy woman he got entangled with and had to get a restraining order to get untangled from. I suspect that there will be readers who complain that the storyline is too fantastical to be believable. Thankfully, the extremes to which Sasha goes to reinsert herself into DeVon’s life are not something that happens often, but sadly I suspect that it has happened in real life a time or two. What, you demand to know. This is where I must admit that I’m not gonna tell you because it would be a MAJOR spoiler.

Suffice it to say that Sasha’s reappearance seven years later causes a lot of turmoil in DeVon and Krissy’s relationship – a relationship that has now been going strong for a year. The chemistry between them is just as intense as during the previous books in the series, but the sex is even hotter as DeVon has introduced more of his kink into the bedroom. It is because things are still so hot between them that it is so noticeable when Sasha drops her little bomb on DeVon because he suddenly becomes distant and distracted. So even though Krissy has no idea what’s going on, she knows something is pulling DeVon away from her. I will admit that I was surprised by Krissy’s sudden insecurities regarding DeVon and how she seemed hesitant to fight for him – even before she knew what she was fighting for. Fortunately, Ms. Parker drops enough clues that the reader sees the writing on the wall long before the overworked and distracted Krissy does – it was a literal “Ohhhhh” moment for me.

While it is true that Chasing Perfection Vol. IV can be read as a stand-alone book, I recommend against it. Not because you won’t know what’s going on or will be lost, but rather because what makes this installment so impactful is seeing what DeVon and Krissy went through to make it to this point, particularly important is DeVon’s playboy past and Krissy’s ball-busting attitude. For readers new to the series, I think it will be the difference between a good read and a great read and this was definitely a great read for me. So if you picked this up planning to read it as a stand-alone, do yourself a favor and read volumes 1 – 3 first because DeVon and Krissy’s story was a hot and wild ride that I doubt you’ll regret accompanying them on it. And if you’ve read and enjoyed volumes 1 – 3, what are you waiting for? Grab Chasing Perfection Vol. IV now because spending time DeVon and Krissy is well worth the price of admission.

Krissy and DeVon have been dating and living together for some time. They are in love and looking forward to a future together. They are partners both at work and at home. Everything seems to be going well until someone from DeVon’s past comes back to possibly mess up their future. One of DeVon’s past flings comes back to inform him that he has a son. This shocks DeVon to say the least. He was always careful. Always used condoms and made sure they were on the pill. You can never be too careful. DeVon had broken it off with Sasha when it became clear she becoming a bit obsessed. DeVon learns that she lied to him, she wasn’t on the pill and she went one more step by poking holes in the condoms the last few times they had sex. She said she did it because she didn’t want him to leave her. DeVon would normally talk to Krissy about everything but how can he go to her and tell that he has a child he never knew about. Surely Sasha wants more from him than to just let him know he has a son. Meanwhile Krissy is dealing with a weasel of a paparazzi. He is threatening a client and friend of both DeVon and Krissy. She has lunch with him and tells him that if he does what he is threatening she will sue him and make sure that he is out of work. The paparazzi tells her the price has gone up they can come to a compromise. Half the amount he originally asked for a night with Krissy. She is disgusted by this and tells him no way. He gives her a week to give him a real answer. Krissy wants to talk to DeVon about it but he seems to be avoiding her. What will Krissy do? What does Sasha really want from DeVon? Is Sasha still as crazy as she was before?
I love DeVon and Krissy. This book was emotional. There were times I was yelling at DeVon to just tell Krissy what Sasha was saying and doing. During the whole book Krissy was going through her own things. She was sick most of the book as well as dealing with the sleazy paparazzi guy. I felt bad for DeVon he felt like he was in an impossible place with an impossible decision. He hated lying to Krissy or if not lying avoiding the truth. He was hardly home whenever possible. Krissy was sure their relationship was strong then he started distancing himself from her. She was beginning to worry that he was trying to find a way to gently know that he no longer wanted to be with her. In the past neither one of them were the relationship type. Normally DeVon would just be honest and tell the girl he didn’t want to see them anymore but they lived together so it was different. I was sad for most of this book. It was hard for both of them. I will say it has a happy ending. I can’t wait to read more of DeVon and Krissy’s story. Another fabulous book M.S. Parker.

Wow, this book left me with an overwhelming desire to go and take a cold shower. Then again, that often happens when I read something by M.S. Parker. I enjoy revisiting characters that I have loved in previous books, and this no exception. The book flows well and the characters are true to the themselves as put forth in previous books. The sex scenes? off the charts as no one writes a sexy episode like Ms. Parker

I will say that in previous books I was not a huge fan of DeVon. However, he totally redeems himself in this book. In the past he has been rude, arrogant and ruthless, as well as, sultry, sexy and possessive. I often thought Krissy could do better, now, there is no way that is possible. DeVon proves himself to be something he never thought he could be, a man in love. When a crazy woman from his past surprises him and gives him an ultimatum, the reader will be hard pressed not to fall in love with DeVon. He has a choice to make and neither option is viable for heart and soul. He thinks he makes a choice, only to find out he cannot go through with it. Truly, DeVon is a man torn in two by the threats of the woman from his past and his deep love for Krissy.

Krissy has no idea what is going on with her man. They returned from a weekend vacation and all hell broke loose. Jet-lagged and ill, she struggles with the distance that DeVon has put between them. Throw in a sleazy photographer blackmailing one of their top clients and his crazy ultimatum and you have the making of a suspenseful tale by Ms. Parker. DeVon learns a lot about himself. Not only is he a man in love, he is a man who looks forward to creating a future with the woman he loves and making a life and a home for them. There are twists and turns in the plot that I didn't see coming and now that I am firmly on team DeVon, I want more. The question is, will this be the last we see of Krissy and Devon from Ms. Parker?

In the final installment, Krissy and DeVon are living together and happy with each other but thins are about to change.

Returning back home after a trip to New York City to spend time with Krissy friends, they come home to find that one of their clients is being blackmailed over photographs by a sleazy photograph. As they try to handle the situation Krissy says she will deal with him and draw up papers. Unfortunately the photographer says he will cut the price to a half million dollars if she sleeps with him.

In the meantime DeVon past comes back to haunt him. A woman named Sasha who he once spent a week but got rid of after she became too clingy. She tells him that they have a six year old son and she does not want money but wants them to be a family, That she had put holes in the condoms that they used and lied about being on the pill.

He tells her that does not want her as she throws himself at him and that he loves someone else. He is willing to take care of his son after a DNA test. She is like they are a package deal and if he does anything that she will take off again with his son and not be seen again. This cause DeVon to be distant to Krissy as he tries to figure out what to do.

When a week flies by and still DeVon behavior is still erratic as he keeps his distance from her, she follows him one morning and sees him with the other woman and son. Krissy has her investigate by a cop she befriend as she learn the identity of the woman and that the woman is wanted by police in the disappearance of a three year old boy three years ago in another state. Something is not right.

Can Krissy find the right answers before she loses DeVon and their chance of happiness together?

I have come to expect many things from MS Parker’s books.
Hot and steamy to the extreme.
Twists and turns that could leave you with whiplash.
Gripping tale from start to finish.
Cliffhangers that will leave you screaming or with your jaw on the floor.
What I did not expect was the amount of raw emotion that sent me into tears several times! That’s exactly what I got with Volume 4 of this series.

I was beyond ecstatic to learn that MS Parker was doing another book with DeVon and Krissy. I loved the first three volumes and could not wait to get my hands on the 4th. With that said, I was completely blown away by this book.

Yes we still have sexy DeVon and spitfire Krissy and they are still together in the beginning of the book. However, we get to see a whole new side to each of them. I would never in a million years thought I’d see this side of them.

The heartbreak and devastation that DeVon and Krissy both faced was so tangible. It was almost leaping out of my kindle and smacking me in the face. Honestly, I had my doubts about how things were going to turn out for one of my favorite book couples. I wanted to scream, hit, cry, and throw things. Well I actually did a couple of those! It’s a beautiful addition to the series and I can’t express how much I truly loved it. Go 1-click this series today and take the ride of your life.

I really enjoyed this book. It was exactly what I expect from this author. It was full of steam, angst suspense, twists, turns, and one happy ending though I am secretly hoping for more!

This book revisits Krissy and DeVon with the next installment in their series. While they got their happy ending in volume three, it is far from over. These two will face obstacles, secrets and deception. People are threatening to tear them apart. The past is coming back to haunt them. DeVon and Krissy are at a crossroads. Will they be able to find their happy ending again? Or is it too late?

DeVon!... I have loved DeVon from the beginning. I rooted for he and Krissy from their first meeting because you could feel their chemistry pouring off of the pages. DeVon was still his sexy, naughty, and bossy self who we grew to love but in this book, he was torn on what to do. And I wanted to strangle him or throttle him so very bad! I wanted to shout into my kindle for Krissy and DeVon to talk to each other! And Krissy! Man did she pull out the tears in me at times. She was so conflicted. But in the end, the struggle and strife is worth it.

I recommend this book as an addition to volumes one, two and three!

Perfect ending for DeVon and Krissy but HOLY COW I was on the edge of my seat with worry.

My favorite thing about these two is that they are both strong willed and very much alike with their needs and desires. There is no whiny bratty behavior they both give as much as they get. The problem with this is that Krissy almost gets herself in a horrible predicament in this volume because of her actions. This story is still very very steamy hot but I almost loved seeing their emotions and sensitive natures come out in this book more than the steam. We did see both of them struggle with their need to be together in the past volumes but in this volume we see fears. DeVon is fearful of losing something he just found out he had but at the same time he is horrified at the thought of losing Krissy. Of course Krissy is scared she is losing DeVon because he is very distant. I love Krissy because of all the choices she could have made she stood by her man and helped to get answers for him. There was some pretty serious drama here and I was a little nervous about their relationship status. The ending was so perfect and I just adored DeVon as a loving partner !! So glad we got this final piece of them and that they are having their HEA !! Well deserved

Krissy and DeVon are one of my favorite couples from this author, and I was excited that the continuation of their love story came our way so soon! This book picks up about a year after the end of CP3- things have been going well for them and they are in NY to visit with Carrie and Gavin. The story opens with a smokin' hot scene between Krissy and DeVon and takes off from there.

But then the past rears its ugly head and DeVon is sent into a bit of a tailspin. At the same time, Krissy is left to deal with a paparazzi crisis relating to their client and friend Landon (who we met in the prior installments) on her own as DeVon gets lost in his own head. While I won't go into too much detail about the issue, I will say that I loved how they handled it as a couple. DeVon clearly loves Krissy deeply and although they have a bit of a bumpy ride at times, they find a way to work through it together without being torn apart.

This was a wonderful addition to their story and I am happy that this installment not only advanced their relationship but enhanced their overall story as well.

This book picks up where the last one left off. There is angst, love and hot sex. DeVon has a surprise visit from someone from his past. Given an ultimatum DeVon doesn’t know what to do. Krissy can tell something is wrong, DeVon won’t talk about it. While dealing with a situation at Mirage, Krissy has to decide should she fight for what she wants or just let things happen. I couldn’t believe what she almost did, I was actually shocked!!! This was another great installment!

Chasing Perfection, Vol. IV is the fourth book of the series. It picks up right where the third book left off. Krissy and DeVon finally have their happily-ever-after or do they? A surprise from the past sneaks up on DeVon. He tries to deal with this situation on his own without involving Krissy. Krissy can tell that something is wrong and sets out herself to figure out what DeVon has been hiding from her. This problem almost ends Krissy and DeVon’s relationship.

Ms. Parker’s fourth book is as hot as the first three. There is lots of scorching scenes between Devon and Krissy; these two characters have off-the-charts chemistry. Besides the chemistry, the relationship between DeVon and Krissy has begun to mature and develop; Devon truly loves Krissy and she is the only woman for him. I would definitely recommend reading the previous books before picking this one up although it could be read as a stand-alone. I think once again, Ms. Parker has outdone herself.

Devon and Krissy have been through lot to get to the place they are now, happy and in perfect unison with each other. They have professes their love for each other and have become true partners in every sense of the word. I Love it!!!!
Now if everything were right with our couple there really wouldn't be something to read about... So as I said everything is perfect for our Devon and Krissy until the past comes to shake things up for Devon. We go through an emotional down turn in this book with the decisions that Devon has to make. You will get angry, you will get sad(tissues better be handy), you will want to kick some female Boootay! This is why we love reading this series because it pulls you in to the story and you are completely invested in the characters. Feeling every passionate embrace and every ounce of pain and joy they feel. I think this one is by far my favorite in the series... until she write the next one that is :)

Welcome back devon and krissy....so loved this book. In book four devon and krissy are arriving back from the reopening/engagement announcement party in new york got gavin and carrie and krissy thinks everything is fine between the two of them when devon starts to pull away but what krissy doesnt know is that an old play thing of devons has shown up claiming that she has a son and its devons. Sasha gives devon an ultimatum her and their son or neither of them. As devon tries to figure out what to do krissy takes things into her own hands when she follows devon to the park to meet sasha and their son. Krissy finally hears from devon why he has been pulling away and what choices he has to make
Will devon choose krissy or will he choose sasha and their child and will he have to?????
I am never disappointed with ms parkers books cant wait for the next read

Oh M.S.Parker what a tangled web you weave for what you write is so magical to believe. Chasing perfection 4 is a magical Rollercoaster ride with Devon and krissy taking front seat in the twists,turns,ups,downs and all the little surprises that are in between. Devon and krissy'S chemistry sets this book on fire and with each turn of the page. Just putting it down for a second will have you back tracking to make sure you didn't miss one spark their flame. M.S.Parker you never let us down with your writings. I am truly amazed and awestruck with your story lines thank you for your amazing work and making reading enjoyable and inspiring.I would love to give more details but this is a must read and I don't do spoiler alerts.

Wow...We loved how M.S Parker just took us to the Tower of Doom only to leave us gripping the edge of our seats. This heart pounding thriller made us short of breath clutching our Kindles. With all that fiery emotion between DeVon and Krissy bubbling to the surface through every hellish twist and turn. This is one passionate page-turner we could not put down. Well played, M.S. Parker...Well played!

I got it! I'm ecstatic! k latz gonna devour this book thanks M. S.......OMG! I LOVED IT! M.S. you did it again! I love ur writing style...I love all ur characters, they make me laugh,cry yell, and excited. What a great story for Krissy and DeVon....what a change of events for them both when they came back from New York. I didn't see that coming but I guess that's what happens when you sleep with the crazies. I really thought for a moment that DeVon was a bad guy and that his past was finally catching up to him!....and it did. I am so happy for their ever after. Thanks for keeping me on the edge. U rock girl!
