Here is what it says in the rules:

Re-Reads are not preferred, however they are allowed [Note: if you re-read a book, you may only use that re-read for ONE shelf per game]; Anthologies are allowed, however all shorts within the book must be read and reviewed; All formats of a book (excluding graphic novels) found on the appropriate shelf or category are allowed assuming the print book has a minimum of 200 pages.

~ Since our group focus is on PNR & UF series reads, I'd prefer to keep book choices to those of that nature, but it's not a requirement.

Don't forget about the sizes, that's what usually takes me the most time to figure out if it's not something I've cropped myself.

Goodreads limits: Width must be 0-400, Height must be 0-1000, alt is a description of the image. All three are optional, but recommended.

Um I got away from goodreads for a while this year so sorry if I'm asking an obvious question, but I can only see 25 pages. Did they change the popular shelves feature? This Detective Shelf is going to be challenging for me.

Yes, the goodreads powers that be "fixed" a display issue for us *snark* by limiting number of list pages displayed to 25.

A workaround: (1) go to a desired book page (2) in the URL, replace "goodreads.com/book/show/" portion with "goodreads.com/shelf/users/" and (3) add at the very end "?shelf=shelfname" then press enter to see if anyone shelved it matching shelfname called.

For example, just taking first book on the shelf announcement thread's link -- A Study in Scarlet:

URL for book is https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/102868 .

Alter as mentioned above with detective as shelfname

for https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/users/102868?shelf=detective to see if anyone shelved as detective.
