Amber’s reading I absolutely love a good slow burn romance novel and I think that Mariana Zapata books always deliver. She's able to deliver the angst, sometimes hate to love, and always great humor. I just can't seem to find any other authors like her. Any recommendations?

✰♊ Angie ♊✰ You should try P. Dangelico

Love her stuff. Zapata is my slow-burn queen, though!

Here's my slow-burn shelf if you wanna check it out:

Anyway, I'll leave here my slow-burn shelf too :)

SB*needs low angst books* | 825 comments I don't have many that are as slow as MZ but the ones I would suggest are that are close to how slow hers are

Baking For Keeps (Men Worth Melting For Book 1) by Jela Clayton

Beard Science (Winston Brothers, #3) by Penny Reid

Roots and Wings (City Limits, #1) by M. Mabie

Over the Fence by Melanie Moreland

Without Words by Ellen O'Connell

Protecting Rose by Cheryl Yeko

Anywhere with You (With You, #1) by Kaylee Ryan

Some you might like that aren't as slow but still take more relationship time

Wild & Sweet (The Haven Brotherhood, #2) by Rhenna Morgan

Tribute by Nora Roberts

The Secret (Highlands' Lairds #1) by Julie Garwood

Oh, Gloria... if you like a slooow burn, you must read Zapata!

The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata
From Lukov with Love by Mariana Zapata
Kulti by Mariana Zapata
Under Locke by Mariana Zapata

If you are a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, most of Mariana Zapata books are free on KU. I believe only a couple of them are not... Kulti being one of them and also one of her most popular.

Gloria Fiction Mad | 15 comments Thank you Angie, I'll have a look. Unfortunately I'm don't have kindle Unlimited. Maybe for my bday I can convince my husband to give it as a present.

Sometimes I envy a reader who gets to read a book for a first time. I think you have to read The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata and Kulti by Mariana Zapata even Wait for It by Mariana Zapata .... enjoy...

Antonella Also I would definitely recommend Lucy Parker. Pretty Face (London Celebrities, #2) by Lucy Parker Act Like It (London Celebrities, #1) by Lucy Parker . These are the books that will make you fall in love...such well written but still witty and smart and these romantic moments are palpable. Absolutely addicted.

Kindle Unlimited is amazing and Amazon does some really great bargains on Black Friday(if the bday doesn’t happen), also keep an eye on Groupon, they have done free 2 month trials!

Kathy Golden | 99 comments I know Zapata's books aren't, but are some of these books written in 3rd person as opposed to 1st person? If so, which ones that anyone knows of?

If I have an author I want to gorge on I will turn on Kindle Unlimited for just a month then turn it off. Just make sure to put a reminder in your calendar to do that.

Lorie | 4 comments A real slow burn I recently read but has to do with underage is Something in the Way by Jessica Hawkins...that series was gut wrenchingly slow burn but oh so good!

Penelope Douglas is also really good at love/hate and angst if you are looking for that. I recommend Punk 57 or Fall Away series, takes place in high school but really good.

I didn't like that one. Nothing happens in the first two books...I really don't want to spend the money on the third one.

Amber’s reading I’m reading Wrecking Ball and I’m absolutely loving it! The brooding alpha, where you have no idea what he’s thinking, is my favorite. Need more like this!

Read it first (tynanz) | 16 comments Penny Reid, Knitting in the City or The Winston Brothers series are a great slow burn option.
