Calling all Spreadsheeters - ATY Community Spreadsheet
Fun!!!! I added mine so far.Bahaha...don't feel like lesson planning....my lesson planning today consisted of asking another instructor to email me her powerpoint for my upcoming chapter since its one I haven't done yet. Then I found out she bummed it off of ANOTHER instructor because it was one SHE hadn't taught yet, lol. Cheers to file sharing :-)
I did read the slides though and double check a few facts so I don't make an ass out of myself in lecture tomorrow.....

I've made a fool out of myself when it's my own powerpoints haha! Luckily, I'm off all week so I have some time to finish up planning this unit and still squeeze in a book or two!
LUCKY!!!!! I feel like I could use a vacation after this semester. what a train wreck its been. And yesterday I heard my incoming class has upwards of 40 students. I about died. I followed the link on the spreadsheet to your blog, Its great!!!!! What kind of pup is that you have? He looks sort of like mine ( what little I could see of him)

Awwww. I used to have a mini Schnauzer, she was white. Her name was Gretyl. Best dog ever!! My new one is a Wheaten terrier (ist). He's out of his mind lol. Little furball.

I love watching the stats too... and I'm tempted to go read the prompts that haven't been read yet, just to clear off that zero haha

Funny, isn't it that the only prompt that no one has read for in the spread sheet is the book that intimidates.... Our books must be really intimidating!

I do wish that prompt wasn't so close to the end of the challenge, because I'd kinda like to get it over and done with! I'll probably start on it in a few months, on Serial Reader, just to chip away at it. As long as I finish it after Book 44 and before I finish Book 46, that's in order for me. 😂

That's so strange! I'm not sure why it wouldn't be letting you... I have the sharing settings set so that anyone with the link can edit. Let me know if you're still having trouble later and I'll try to figure it out.

Could be? If you open it in the Google Sheets app, you wouldn't have a problem. If it keeps you in the Goodreads app, that could be an issue? I haven't tried it on my phone (and I have the Google Sheets app, so when I do open it, it directs me to that app).
Try copying this link and pasting it into Safari or Google Chrome or whichever browser you use on your phone. That may solve the problem!

I updated my books right before. I also have my plan wrote on notebook paper so each week I finish I will update here too

For those of us doing a double challenge, do we list both books or set up 2 columns? Or, just list one of the books?

I would do two separate lists -- maybe put Pam (List One) and Pam (List Two) or, if you have a theme like children's books or something like that, you could name it that way!

I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more traction. It provides an easy way to see what others are reading for various prompts which I suspect will be increasingly valuable as the year progresses.

So there's that. And I've noticed that in general the group members don't really care what anyone else is reading because they've got their own plan for the challenge.
The more people post their books and about their books, the more books I have to add to my TBR list. I will never get that thing read down.

Bahahah I feel THE SAME. I'm just trying to keep my To Read list less than my Read list. (And with 302 books on my Read list, it's still a challenge).
Added, but can't figure out how to put books only in italics :P
I had that trouble also. When I was done I double clicked on the square highlighted and then it worked to italicize

I just Command-i, type the title, and Command-i again then type the rest. I think it’s Ctrl-i on a PC.

Because I'm bored/off of work/don't feel like lesson planning, I put together this ATY community spreadsheet. It's a quick way to see what everyone is reading in every prompt AND you can see how many people are completing the challenge!
I thought it would be fun. If you're interested in getting in on it, check it out here.
The stats along the prompts show how many people who have listed their name on this doc have finished the prompt, and the stats at the bottom show the percentage complete for each individual. Feel free to add your name and your books, but try to keep it to only books you've actually completed (but you can link your plan in the notes at the bottom!)
