What are you reading in 2018?
I just finished “Life in a Jar: the Irena Sendler Project. It is about Irena Sendler, a social worker in Warsaw Poland during the Holocaust. She was responsible for saving thousands of children from the Jewish ghetto. It is also the story of high school age girls in Kansas discovering Irena’s story for a History project. They wrote and performed a short play inspired by her deeds. It is an amazing and inspiring story!! Given the emotional climate in our world today, it should be required reading for all!

It is hard to say without giving spoilers. You know when you are reading a book and you just want to yell “okay, I get it she drinks to much, let’s move on”. I liked parts of the story but then it would get very wordy. This is why I don’t write reviews I’m not very good at it.

I've got a number of books in progress. The audiobook Seveneves by Neal Stephenson is over 31 hours and I'm only listening while driving. I'm also reading Michael Connelly's most recent Harry Bosch book, Two Kinds of Truth, State of Grace, The Sixth Day, Hellenica, Elsker and Branded by Flames all in Kindle. About a week ago I received an email about a deal on a J. R. Ward book. Which got me yearning to reread some of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I have the first six books of that series in paperback and the rest in hardback. One of my favorites is the fourth book, Lover Revealed. So, of course, I had to reread it which then lead me to the next book, Lover Unbound which I'm now reading. As soon as I shake loose of my BDB obsession, I'll finish the other books in progress.
The Girl in the Moss by Loreth Anne White 5-StarsFantastic book by an outstanding author
