I finished As Sick as Our Secrets by A.B. Whelan and was a bit disappointed. Here’s my review.

I finished listening to I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer by Michelle McNamara, a fascinating true crime story that was recently in the news. Here’s my review.

I’m listening to Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover (kind of hard to put down) and reading Murder in Little Italy by Victoria Thompson, Gaslight Mystery #8, and I’m already well into it.

I finished Missing by Sharon Sala. The first hundred pages were very different and slow paced. But the story picked up after that and I had a hard time putting the book down.

I went and started another series with Karin Slaughter's newest. I really should stop doing that but she is so good. Plus I got it from the library super quickly. Way more quickly than I anticipated. So I started with Last Breath by Karin Slaughter which I did buy despite me not wanting to spend more money on books this month and am now reading The Good Daughter. Super stoked about it because Last Breath was such a good story.

I'm only about 10% into this book and it is good so far. The prologue gave some great information regarding Charlie's childhood that the novella Last Breath brought up but didn't give a lot of details about. Then it skips to 28 years later and Charlie's life is completely different than what was happening in the prequel which was a little jarring to me because I didn't pay attention to the timeline close enough. Ooops.
