				 I know you're still hurting and missing Roddy, but it'll gradually get easier. Escaping into a book IS a good way to help cope. Life goes on. Hang in there, Anji.

As you can see, it's one of the pieces that helped me through this past month. I'm rather envious that you got to work with Christina and the Sweet Sixteen on it!

      Sara wrote: "Awesome Anji, was the Audible Emma worth it? Its on my list but there are other versions of it too."Sara, it was definitely worth spending a credit on, for me anyway. Obviously, as with any drama, it's not an unabridged performance, but it's a good one. I loved the version of Northanger Abbey they did last year and this was was equally good. Emma Thompson is a brilliant narrator (or Jane Austen, you could say) and has just the right ironic expression when it's needed. Of course, you'd expect that from someone who won an Oscar for her screenplay for S&S and also gave a BAFTA award acceptance speech for the same in the style of Jane Austen. I really hope they go on to do the rest of canon.

      NOVEMBER SUMMARY=================
Short stuff, long stuff, unpublished, published. Not managed to finish an audiobook in November as I've not been doing as much driving recently. I'm going to be keeping company with the lovely Colonel for the rest of the year as Pemberley is sadly too far away!

My current audiobook is Mr. Darcy's Journey: A Pride & Prejudice Variation by Abigail Reynolds and I'm not far off the end of that now. I was looking through my Audible library, trying to decide what to listen to next, when I discovered I had the audio version of Christmas Cheer from the Holidays with Jane series - job done! I've just finished reading Darcy's Voyage by Kara Louise and next up for reading is my Someone Pick It choice Pride & Prejudice & Assassinations by Leo Charles Taylor. After that, it'll be something seasonal, if I get the chance. Maybe Yuletide: A Jane Austen-inspired Collection Of Stories from The Quill Collective; or maybe I'll read that first, as it's somewhat shorter.

Quite a lot of short fanfiction one-off pieces make up my yearly final total of one gross (144). Not been doing as much driving, so only one audiobook, but it was a stonking good one! A pretty good month for quality, too - nothing below ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on my admittedly subjective scale.

It's been a hell of a month. I think what reading I've done has helped keep me sane. Life seems to be settling down a bit. Trying to get used to being a one dog family. We still keep saying plural words (dogs, boys, lads etc) from time to time.
