Prayer & Praise: A Jane Austen Devotional: 50 Messages Inspired by Her Prayers & Illustrated by Her Celebrated Characters:
"This is the third Jane Austen devotional that I’ve read and enjoyed. It breaks down Jane’s three surviving prayers with supporting examples from her novels. The author shows great insight into Austen’s writing with Biblical truths to back it up. An e"

Murder at Northanger Abbey: Sequel to Jane Austen's Spoof on the Gothic Novel:
"A Whodunnit Sequel
A Northanger Abbey whodunnit. Where’s Poirot when you need him? Then again, who needs Poirot when you have Catherine Tilney, née Morland, to figure it out? In this sequel, Catherine’s beloved Henry is accused of murder and while att" Read more of this review » |

Murder at Northanger Abbey: Sequel to Jane Austen's Spoof on the Gothic Novel:
"Do you ever read a book and enjoy it to such an extent that your mind continues to dwell on the characters and you imagine your own continuation of the story? If that story is Northanger Abbey, then it is no stretch to imagine that the heroine, Cathe"

I've got some ideas cooking, Trish, but nothing actually underway yet. I promised myself I wouldn't start writing another book until I finished sorting through my parents' house - a massive undertaking, but I'm just about done! How would you feel about a bit of a time travel story? - a JA fan who gets the chance to travel back to live her life in Regency times. She pictures herself another Lizzy Bennet, but of course things don't go exactly as she imagines. I hope it will be a bridge book to one I wrote some time ago called First of Second Chances. You can read about that one at my website/blog www.shannonwinslow.com. The plan would be to publish the two together. I would also like to put together an anthology about Mr. Collins. Then I have in mind a book about the Gardiners. That will keep me busy for a while!
