Have now added The Shepherd's Hut

Thanks for your patience y'all. Now to get on to the reading.

So I just finished reading The Dalai Lama's Cat by David Michie and I'm wondering if it counts for this challenge? Because he was born overseas but these days is based in Perth, WA. Sorry if I'm asking a question that is answered elsewhere but, for challenges' sake, what counts as an AA?

If they are born here and now live overseas - or if they were born overseas and now reside here - they are classed as AAs Krystal :) I just looked him up and yes, you can call him an Aussie :)

Excellent news, thank you! In that case, I'm switching one of my male authors to new releases so I can mark this off as my first read!
:)

So did I! It sucked me right in. Was more romance than historical but I still enjoyed it, especially as it was told from the German perspective. Tania did a wonderful job of portraying Lotte's emotions and horror in slowly realising the horrors of the Nazi's when you grew up brainwashed and believing wholeheartedly in the fuhrer and the fatherland.

Sorry - I'm a bit late to the game. I've "had my eye" on this one, but the month of January has been a bit crazy for me, so am only finding time to sign up today.
I do have one book already that could qualify - Flying Too High read from 1/3 - 1/5 - am I able to date back to when the challenge began, or does it need to start with today when I officially signed up?
Thanks!
No you can back date Sue :) The challenge officially began on Jan 1st, so anything read between then and now that fits the criteria is fine :)

Kerrie, I just finished [book:The Locksmith's Daughter & really enjoyed it. I can definitely recommend it. :)

A great historical fiction tale set in Elizabethan England - a period of history that I find quite fascinating. Rather than the typical romance (although there is a romantic subplot) this focuses on the tension of being a well educated woman with the skills of a master locksmith, therefore lock pick, in an era where women were so often disregarded & overlooked for anything other than breeding the next generation. 3★

I still have to populate the rest of my list!
