I've only had it in my shelves since Christmas. I'm getting to the older ones after the ones from under the tree.

If you can remember some of what you wrote in them, you can search for your post in the little box to the right. (I don't think this is a feature in the app.)
I don't post that much, so I usually just search for my name, and my posts pop up. (It was easier before there was another Felicia in the group ;) )
If it's a specific post you have to find more times, you can just memorize or write down the message number. There are 50 posts on each side, so if you're looking for post nr. 268 (which is this one), you will know to look on page 6.

Didn't read the book, but I loved the movie...the women and their story are amazing, as you say, and they are portrayed by talented actresses. Guess I can skip reading the book, based on your review :-)

In the meantime, I've read 5 physical books from my shelves and my husband has read 3. I have 195 more books that I want to read this year. At my usual speed that will not happen in the next 11 months, but I will definitely put a dent in that number.
